A 116 bed-facility? What kind of a National Hospital is that when you consider the fact that we have a population of over 170,000; and one natural disaster, such as an earthquake or hurricane, can send hundreds, or even thousands, of people to the hospital; and here we are squandering an opportunity; and instead, building a 116 bed-hospital with 33 departments.

1 department for every 3 1/2 beds. Again, why so few beds, and so many department?

To be blunt this piece sounds like it was reprinted from a promotional leaflet on the New National Hospital. Apart from bed numbers and departments there wasn't much insight into the new standard of Healthcare as touted by the subject. I was looking for information on training/recruitment in place for persons to staff the new facility, but it sounds like this will be Victoria Hospital all over again at a new site.

roughly the size of blue coral building..? thats pretty small, for a national health care structure.. RIGHT?.. to my knowledge i think VH has over a 100 beds as well and look at its size... anyway i think that was a typo ..cause the circular shape of NNH is perhaps the same length as blue Coral mall..but there are 4 other structures behind the circular shape..and 2 of those blgs at the back have 3 stories..and the other 2 has 2 stories..how is that the size of blue coral..

keep in mind that the italian firm who is blding this hospital realized that the furthest eastern part could not accomodate a 5th blg so they chose to add 2 floors in the existing 4 other prung blds behind ... that hospital in my view is as large as BAYWALK MALL..in structure not blue coral..
