So what does any of that mean for the people of St. Lucia or the OECS?
All that Press Release indicated is that a number of liberal elite politicians and regional bureaucrats spent a few day talking shop , drinking booze and cracking at few jokes at our expense. All for their glory!

Maybe $100,000 or $200,000 was spent on food, hotels, airfares, cell phone calls , renting premises, paying party hacks from the region and all for nothing.
So what will you all be able to do about the Canadian visa situation - absolutley squat!

so what if the french islands do or do not want to associate with us - what is the result - again squat!

Will that meeting where Kenny gets to spend another $20,000 of our money make any difference to unemployment or crime? No, Nada and NON!

All that happened is that more hot air was spread around the Caribbean for no reason!

When will we learn that doing the same talking , taking and travelling over and over again and expecting a different result is a sign of MADNESS!

I hope they do it by 2014 because that will be the year when Sainte-Lucie and La Martinique was separated (200 yrs ago) due to the Treaty of Paris 1814. France should have never let us go!

The above statements are ignorant and nonsensical. Why don't you guys do some research before you write these types of statements (if at all they are statements).

"France should have never let us go!"

Many in Martinique wish they were English instead of French.

Martinique and Guadeloupe applied for membership since the beginning of this year, Micah G. George!!!

That's almost a whole year ago.
