MIAMI — A Florida man choked to death after downing dozens of live roaches during a contest earlier this year in which the grand prize was a python, according to an autopsy released Monday.
Edward Archbold (pictured), 32, of West Palm Beach died as a result of “asphyxia due to choking and aspiration of gastric contents,” according to the report released by the Broward County medical examiner’s office. It said his airway was obstructed by the roach body parts, which caused him to not be able to breathe.
SHAME ON THE FEW ST LUCIANS WHO IS GIVING THE ISLAND A BAD NAME BAD NAME.LETS HOPE WHO EVER COMMITED THE CRIME WILL BE PUNISHED.
Shame on that useless UWPEES for stopping the beach ranger programe.
Hope he gets life behind bars.
The government need to get a grip on this.
Hope he pays the ultimate prize:DEATH by hanging! What he sow is what he must reap unless the court find him to have been mentally incapacitated.

This is a telling response to what must and should be considered an atrocious crime, but what strikes me as aberrant behavior is the outrage expressed for the murder of this Caucasian-tourist being completely absent when an honorable young Saint Lucian was shot and killed on the streets of Castries this past Carnival day.
Where was Mr. Law & Order Bishop, and the bleeding hearts to pipe the call for the death penalty for the criminals who terrorize the citizens of Lucia?
Of course I get it! The “White Saviour” who was so good to bring you the crumbs of Lazarus(tourist money) was killed but that Black youth, sixteen-year old Constantine of Maynard Hill had nothing of value to offer the empty coffers of this dysfunctional-selective law and order hypocrites.
Need I mention the mass killings by the police when a “truck load” of dead bodies was produced because they “intended” to rob a Rum Shop?
When a Black Mother sought help to save he two young children during the Hurricane Sandy in Staten Island, and the doors were closed in he face allowing the children to die, no one condemned the United States of America; in fact most of us don't have a clue who were the individuals who behaved with such cruelty – Why should the whole Island be stigmatized for the killing of this Caucasian Tourist??
How did they catch him so fast? There are so many of my St.Lucian brothers and sisters being killed and up to now no arrest it is always under investigation. I hope you all have the right man in the calaboos. I'm trying hard not to think what I'm thinking right now hope I'm wrong.

Negroes hate themselves and do not value the lives of their own Black people.
Just look at how the Negroes here call for the hanging of a person assumed innocent until proven guilty - does not matter!! Negroes THINK he killed their White Jesus - so lynch him.

It is not a black and white issue, it is the life a human being and this is very bad for St.Lucia's economy, I was not born there but I lived there for some time because my parents are from there and it could happen to me and my children who were not born there either so when I read of some of the comments I see some already conclude a label black and white but just remember Jesus died for all but this man is old enough to know rigt from wrong and if he is guilt of the crime he should not go unpunished, let others take an example of him because it is not right to take an innocent life whether he knew the person or not this is running people away from St.Lucia when the enocnomy is already not doing so well create jobs so they can get ways and means to support themselves, get an honest job instead of robbing people please leave the racial attitude. Why are you Lucians “tel-ma-vis-sears”? You don't really care about the crime of murder, now do you? Just be honest about it.
Yesterday a 27 year old Lucian was murdered; no talk of the gallows for the criminals; but the ECONOMY, OH YES, THE ECONOMY – that Caucasian tourist was helping “THE ECONOMY” - that's your real concern; you will receive no more crumbs from the foot of the table of Lazarus and the only way to keep the crumbs coming is to teach that “Black Slave” a lesson about Jesus – lynch him!
