Thanks Joseph Samuel for exposing the condition of the road leading to Darren Sammy's home. Ain't it a damn shame. Of course, some of us residents of the community and its environ have for a long time been crying out for better roads there as we would like to name the street after Darren Sammy. Perhaps now the relevant authority will do something about it and sooner than later.

So what. The road to my home is in a worst state. Sammy will have to deal with it just like the rest of us lesser mortals. At least he has a four wheel drive. He can also afford to purchase parts and the rest to maintain his vehicle.

Seriously..thats an article? we have more serious issues at hand and you concern about a road. How about show some concern about the Boys training centre, Uptown girls centre. YOu concern about a road for a millionaire who's hardly home? I mean all respect to him and his achievement ..but come one lol.

Guess Darren Sammy is nt a Vieuxfortian or a Laborian. In short he is not one of the God Fathers.

Please show us the roads leading to the Homes of the Prime Minister and the other Ministers

I agree with some of the individuals here because to me this is not news worthy as The Government has recognized the achievements of Darren Sammy on many occasions. How many times has he won Sports Man of the Year and what were part of these awards? Should Government place all its funds to ensuring that someone with so much wealth be comfortable? There are greater issues to be concerned with. He is young and there is plenty of time in the future to reward him some more. Honestly, we commend him for his efforts and successes thus far but this article goes too far.

Really? They actually printed this "story" in the paper. Kudos to Darren for all his achievements, but seriously? With all the problems we have in St. Lucia we choose to highlight this.

"YOu concern about a road for a millionaire who's hardly home?"

But when he's home, he does receive many important visitors (from home and abroad); helping our tourism industry in the process; so what's wrong with fixing the road to the man's home? The man is an ambassador; and being a millionaire has nothing to do with it.

Joseph Samuels, you may fool the bloggers with this non-story. But when I grow up, I want to be just like you, and as smart as you are, whoever you really are! What a smart and innovative move to get the government to fix the road to your home. Boy you SMART as ass! Nice one buddy. BWAPEN.

Who the hell cares????Darren Sammy what? There are thousands of Lucians with worst conditioned roads right at their doorstep and nothing for that. Sammy is also a freaking snob, why I don't know.

With all the killing, corruption enveloping this island, that's what makes the news???? Darren Sammy needs to come down to earth...if West Indies really has to objectively assess sammy's value, trust me, he will be thankful for the beat up road that he has.

Give me a break with this story. Sammy can afford to fix the road to his home if he wanted too. Guess he is worried about the Audi and the four wheel getting damaged.
