Who decides who knows or does not know about what?

Once you believe in Jesus Christ you do not question that communicator's status. The only problem with the God that JC represents until then, that being did not wish to manage his power to condescend to come down from on 'high' in person to speak to his own creation. According to followers, he used 'prophets'.

Status of the communicator will always be a matter of challenge for those with limited time.

After all, when it comes to opinion, everyone is entitled to their own. It is only that each and every one of us is not necessarily 'entitled' to hear it.

Answer: those who actually know better than those who pretend they know but write as though they know what they write about. Also it's always hard for those who think they know to accept that there are others who really know more than they know.

Well said. You've made your point. I guess that is why universities disk out honourary doctorate degrees. There are people who learn from exprience and who are so closely tied to the subject, they need no degree to teach others. Jesus Christ was the University. He didn't need a degree. The fisherman may know about the sea, tides, fish, etc. But, could he parcel it and articulate it in a manner that it could be widely taught and understood. I guess a university degree trains the mind, not by way of getting experience, but by way of parceling the experience an articulating it in a way and manner that it could become universal. This is not to take away from your point because, we are here reminded, that university professors always bring in people with the grass roots experience in their field to bring enlightenment and live to their academic teachings.

Those who don't know teach. Those who don't know but have the same experience doing the same thing day after day, for their entire working lives, pontificate rubbish from a one-sided perspective.

Professors bring in experts in particular areas and "the latest and the greatest" in trends and developments especially with research. Armchair experts fool themselves and the idiots who can't question them because they know no better or where to start. Nothing from nothing leaves nothing, they say.

What the hell is scientific about the load of crap and platitudes that is flaunted by this writer? It has the same value as the tons of hot air that spouted by counterparts hosting the talk-shows. Is this what Saint Lucia needs or will get us more enlightened?
