Let the parliament debate the issue at length. Let's all be reminded that the UWP's chief spokesperson's voice on the issue will NOT go down, for the record, into the HANSARD.

Therefore, we can expect much more characteristic UWP demagoguery, as was so much on display recently, during the opening of the bridge in Soufriere. Clearly, our share of regional political bandits, all with a concentrated presence in the UWP, may be out of power, but not at all out of mischief. Power-hungry and desperate people do very desperate things.

I hope the language in the legislation is written such that makes it illegal with jail time, for any behavior that results in, or smacks of ganging up against the taxpayers to defraud them, as done by the last UWP cabinet in the Tuxedo Villa Affair, under a ministry headed by one of our very famous Reverend and sanctimoniously Holy UWP Ali Babas.
