Kenny should have known better. I do not think that the trade-off ALBA vs. antagonizing the US is worth it.

Worse yet, it is a measure that is difficult to undo without embarrassment to Kenny.

We, the people, did not do that.

You noticed? We did not vote on the issue. I do not even believe that there was a debate on the pros and cons in the highest decision-making body of this country, the parliament. The by-passing of parliament on all those so-called secret deals and so on is always going to come back and bite us on our behinds because we vote for so many emotionally immature people, and so many abysmally stupid country bookies as so-called representatives.

This altogether is very much a self-inflicted wound on two basic counts for the Kenny Administration. First of all, the PM has willfully weakened his relationship with a powerful but useful trading partner. Those in charge of US foreign relations will now seek to foster even closer ties with the seemingly more right-wing UWP.

Second, undeniably the PM has provided an overwhelming amount of ammunition to the UWP to attack SLP for years to come, in many, many different ways. That is whether or not he retains the leader position or not. I believe that such a faux pas demands, no warrants such a critical review.

Does he play any of those? It does not appear that he is any kind of knowledgeable player of either chess or checkers/draughts. Be that as it may, his actions clearly point to the fact that he is most definitely not a strategic thinker. With business and foreign relations, there is just always too much emotion and too little commonsense.

I simply can't understand why Kenny is being blamed for the killings by the police under the U W P administration. What is it I am missing here?

The writer of this article is head on . Exactly right. KENNY KNOWS THE TRUTH. He recognizes that he is an arse and knows that he has placed St. Lucia on a downhill spiral. He is aware that the business sector is pissed off with his seemingly lack of business acumen; and a strange form of arrogance. That he has screwed up St. Lucia and now he does not know where the hell to turn; and using the police crap talk as a presumably get-away trick.

But what he does not know the Americans look ago saw him for the deceptive idiot that he has been from way back then. KENNY ain't no bright dude. Stupid idiot. Messed up, shit all over his face; and there is nowhere to wash it; cause the chamber, the unions, the civil servants, America, the UK and Canada and France have all slammed their frigging doors in his shitty-smelling face.

This has little to do with policing. This not how the US State Department operates. It is plain getting back at Kenny and as a lesson to others who have any intention of following his lead.

ALBA was deliberately set up to oppose the US ambitions of control in Latin America. The wording of the very agreement states this in plain language under the guidance of Hugo Chavez.

Kenny has now traded us, and our small tentative grip on sovereignty and independence, in exchange for his brotherhood of left-leaning Latin America and Communistic friends, the Castro brothers.

Yet, in all of this, we do not even speak Latin American Spanish. But we are now firmly a satellite of socialist Venezuela.

How long will it take to repair the damaged relations with the USA?

So the war monger Obama who started more wars than Bush now wants to attack a soverign state like St. Lucia for its foreign policy.

Obama prolonged the depression , killed off black people economic gains, pushed 3rd term abortions, forced other countries to abort their children and push indecent gay marriage and we fools want to bow down to him - the new liberal/socialist slave master.
Why are we not talking about that!
