I would have thought the simplest solution would be to put this event back to a race/walk and be done with it. I've done this walk for several years and the cheating is frustrating. I'd like to be able to earn a gold medal. Just put it as a run/walk and give ppl arm bands or their number at the beginning of the race to determine who started from the starting line.
