A case for compensation for climate change destruction

It is most interesting that the Prime minister of St. Vincent Dr. Ralph Gonsalves, described the inundation caused by the Christmas Storm as, “Unprecedented”.

I take special notice of this statement since that Rag, headed by the ninny weightlifter charlatan, and bolom of Chastanet, has been relentless in his effort to undermine the Government of Dr. Anthony through a campaign of Slander directed against NEMO for not predicting a phenomenon that has the scientist of meteorological sciences flabbergasted.

I have concluded that this Narcissist has psychiatric problems usually associated with ingestion of Steroid-abuse and Kenny should lend his good office to obtain some professional help for his mental illness, paying for the therapy with emergency relief funds donated to the people who were adversely affected by the December 25th storm. I think Lucians would not object to helping this Nut, eat some dry coconuts at their expense.

Seeking compensation for a phenomenon that threatens to cause the extinction of humans is at the very least quite ambitious.

Compensation...That is the Buzz word in the Caribbean these days.

Anyone living in the Caribbean as a result of the Slave Trade and Plantations should be thankful.

If your ancestors had stayed in African you may not have been born.

I agree these islands are too dependent on Tourism but to have a developed country pay the islands for a natural event. No Sir I am not on the same page as you.

If you check the St.Lucia damage most have occurred by persons living in the flood plains of a river. Its sad but true.

I grieve for the families who have lost loved ones but these families need to be relocated over time.

You make some interesting points, but your statement left out, "Natural events caused by developed countries impact on the Planet"

Yet I fail to see how any compensation can be extracted from China, India, and these developing countries.

we should be thankful for slavery, the effects which continues to inflict suffering on Black people even as we speak, you're joking, right?
