Compton was a dictator and ruled without opposition in his party. He impregnated many a young girl below the legal age, a crime that would land him in jail in any developed democratic country. In his reign, one would have to see him personally to get through the system without going through established governmental channels. He ran things from the rear. "goo-vet-ma pa bon da. Up to today the pattern government runnings have not changed.
