What the heck you mean by --your son was born out of a relationship before you were married? Does that mean if he was conceive with your wife that he would have been a different child?
This sound to me like an absent father speaking. Elections are not even here yet and you struggling with an issue as important as that.
Crime is everybody business. We all are affected by it directly or indirectly. You can now tell your party to stop turning crime into politics.
You are on the defensive, and rightly so. To the SLP a favour by steping aside to take care of your personal business. You son need you more than St Lucia needs you.
Some persons simply can't seem to see beyond party lines...Dr. Raymond did the right by addressing the situation to the St.Lucian public. However, it seems more expedient for some to attack his act of good conscience to advance their sick and convoluted agendas. St.Lucia has seen a better day with the quality and cadre of candidates such as Dr.Raymond!!! I have done my research and found out that this man is a genuine man, a family man who was and is very much involved in his son's life--hence his proactive stance to have his son turn himself in. It would be interesting to hear from the son in question. We are quite aware of politicians and leaders whose children have and continue to be involved in deviant and criminal behaviors but do those politicians and others have the gonads to speak up for justice and right like Dr.Raymond.The answer is NO,NO,NO!!! Thank you Dr.Raymond for living it up for Justice and safety for all St.Lucians..WE WANT MORE LEARDERS LIKE YOU!!!!!
The author of the comment in support of Dr.Raymond is right on target.. You have my full support. As parents we are to raise our children in the right way but we simply cannot dictate for our children when they become adults what they should do. While it is true that some parents must do their part to ensure that their children's life outcomes are positive it is not our fault as parents when we have tried and our children simply want to do whatever they want in life. It is quite interesting that the public is not focusing on the young man's mother who also raised the boy but on his father...seems more like political expediency for those who are not in support of Dr.Raymond, and if so, St.Lucia has reached a very sad state. St.Lucia let's all stand behind our leaders whether slp or uwp if they are taking a stand for justice and right.
Thank you Dr.Raymond for doing the right thing. Hope others(i.e our leaders and other parents) will follow suit and stop making excuses or concealing the criminal behaviors of their children. You did the right thing and word on the ground is that St.Lucians are pleased with what you did. All the best at the next elections...Your gesture epitomizes some of the qualities of a good leader. NEVER GIVE UP THE FIGHT FOR JUSTICE.
Why St Lucian males can never stay with the first woman they impregnate? Why Dr Francis couldn't marry the mother of his son? Dr. Francis'son had to grow up alone with his mother. No father at home. His father going with another woman and marry her. That's the problem. We see the result.
It's you fault, the boy was always second-class and that was a cry for help but it's too late now. You neglected him now face the problem that you created. I hate it when parents show preference towards some of their kids.
We might very well be wrong about Dr. Raymond. The truth lies with the son, father, mother and step-parents. You might very well be surprised that the man may have been very much involved in his son's life.
Then why bother to say that the boy was born from a previous relationship. Is is trying to tell us that the boy is half bata and lagiteam? Raymond may have a phd but he is still stuck in a time wrapt. A child is a child.

Dr Raymond has a habit of using women to satisfy his male ego.Abd after using them,he dumps them by the wayside like trash. His PhD has gotten to his brain.

I totally agree with the first post. Ubaldus must accept some responsility for his parenting skills.
