I have enormous respect for Mr. Arthur's competence and his unswerving commitment to regional integration. I agree he has the making of an effective Commissioner. I respect your other choices, but I believe Caribbean governance desperately needs an infusion of new blood and new ideas. There are countless young, bright, Caribbean citizens in the Diaspora who have kept in touch with the region and who would relish an opportunity to serve the region in an advisory capacity. BTW, it is beyond me why the region has not yet set up a standing Commission on Crime to give guidance to regional governments and to the Association of Caribbean Commissioners of Police among others.

It's true, Arthur is a has-been, he never helped the OECS when he was in power. Leave the OECS alone.
