Its a normal situation positive comments comes from family members and close friends and thats the group of people the media interview. Surprised? Its the media to do a better job :-(
Our media people ought to have some academic area of specialty to do a better job. Just too often are they merely echo-chambers regurgitating almost verbatim, what the operatives of political parties trot out.
That is why it would be a calamity for the SLP to respond, going toe to toe with Chastanet's attention-getting and publicity stunts.
It would cede control of the public narrative to him and to media personnel incapable of doing any level of reasonable analysis of the critical issues facing this beleaguered society.
It must be remembered for example, that Chastanet like Prudent are not elected members of government. They are outsiders looking in but trying to grab or make headlines.
Interestingly too, Chastanet is NOT .... I repeat, is NOT constitutionally speaking, Her Majesty's Leader of the Opposition!
And the last PM avoided the Press like the bubonic plague!
So, why are media personnel NOT asking the relevant and pertinent questions? Why is the Leader of the Opposition so mysteriously silent? Has he eaten soap?
Why the media not asking the purpetraters and there friends for a interview to get the other side of the story?? In general the media only showing 1 side of the story. An I call this: MANIPULATING OF OPINIONS !!!

A very sad commentary on the real and actual state of St. Lucia.
I HAVE NOT HEARD ABOUT THE MINISTER FOR national security? IS HE STILL AROUND?
This Article is right on target.
St. LUCIANS, A BUNCH OF HYPOCRITES; MOST OF THEM.
You wrote a similar article on this sometime ago, maybe last year or year before.
