What can I say to this grieving mother? What can I tell her that can in any way assuage her pain? It is so heart-wrenching that a child at her home could meed such a horrible fate. Not only should the perpetrator be brought to justice, but we need to take all necessary steps to bring such violent crimes under control and to make our country a safer place.

In what could otherwise be regarded as a fairly good article with stinging indictment of the government, Mr Fedee for reasons best known to himself veered off course to tell us that supporters of the UWP are "diametrically different" to that of the SLP, that the supporters of the UWP are "conservative by nature, church going, hard working, sacrifice to educate themselves and their children and observe a code of ethics in which they observe the laws and institutions of state, and accept the results of elections and would not behave in a manner that would negatively impact the smooth operations and governance of the country" Reminds me very much of a certain UWP Prime Minister who referred to the SLP supporters as thieves and rapists. Your suggestion here is highly insulting to SLP supporters and in a way to the people of St lucia as a whole. You very clearly have an agenda here and are prepared to insult and denigrate our people in the relentless pursuit of you dubious ends. I am truly nauseated.

Our bright young people are becoming an endangered species. Those who don't flee to greener pastures are being slaughtered on the streets and in their homes. My sympathies to the family of this young lady. Justice probably won't be served in this life because this is St. Lucia, but hang in there and you will one day find peace.

WE NEED EXTERNAL, INDEPENDENT ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS FROM THE FBI OR SCOTLAND YARD TO HELP WITH THIS DAMAGING SITUATION IN SAINT LUCIA.

AND KENNY ANTHONY HAD BETTER ACT SOONER RATHER THAN LATER!

MUCH TOO MANY UNSOLVED MURDERS IN SUCH A SMALL COUNTRY AS THIS. WE ARE FED-UP.

Someone commented of external help, really? For those same reasons a foreign police chief was hired with experience and the nation cried foul saying we had qualified people on the island! Well, whee are they now!

Where is the DNA test/evidence. To me it sound like a rape/murder.
And for heavens sake are thsi Things happening for the 24 th time this year. What is wrong With this small country???????

Where are the laws and regulations, the lawbook is there. START using it, not sit on it.

Why is there no actiosn form govermnent when this happening so much. Such a small island, just about over 150 thousand citizens
It shoould be so easy to take controll and make St Lucia a happy friendly calm Place to live. There is so much potensial in this island. There must be work for everyone if government want to. And sallary should be much higher.

I love St Lucia, but this is really really sad.

WAKE UP Please, clean up the streets, Close Down the rumshops, make St Lucia the Family island number 1, where happiens, Family, children and love is the focus

Our so-called adult population has too great a focus on sex. True.

Our males, not really men, are largely sperm donors, who boast of how many women they have slept with and how as their testimony of their manhood. Some need to boast that they are having at least FIVE relationships going at the same time as further evidence. Five women at one time.

With so much sex as the #1 priority for this society, it is little wonder that it will develop into a pattern of rape and murder.
