I hope this driver is punished soo bad that he would not even want to get behind a wheel again and start learning how to take public transportation.
The Hinkson family is in my thoughts and prayers. And hope justice is served.

There are way tooo many jackasses out there that take our small roads fora NASCAR track. And i do hope police took some test to see if he was under the influence of alcohol or something. It will be a crying shame if they failed to do so.

Our authorities THOUGHT ... that if they raise the costs of Learners Licenses, Drivers Licenses, Vehicle Insurance and Licenses, that this would assist in curbing "vehicular crimes".

Not so ... this venture has caused the LACK of these essential Licenses to ESCALATE!!! It is surprising to know the number of people out there who are driving WITHOUT legal licenses and insurance of vehicles.

Instead, costs should be on the STUPID people who commit these "vehicular crimes" to pay for it -dearly!! Increase the penalties by much, much, much higher FINES ($50,000) and longer JAIL times (15+ years).

I would like to think that such penalties would be more of a deterrent. Make the "criminals" pay!! Not the law abiding citizens.

Also, it is high time that vehicles are classed as LEGAL LETHAL WEAPONS - which can kill!!

*sigh* ... sad to say - my lil missive will fall on deaf ears.
