The government should grow the Marijuana themselves or let it grow through appointed and regulated companies.

Tax it accordingly and use the massive revenue to strengthen the economy and infrastructure.

It makes perfect business sense to consider using this product that Mother Nature innocently designed to be used as man see fit. It is not unlike cigarettes, alcohol, coffee, guns and prescription drugs etc. Make a business of it since no government will ever be able to stop its consumption. I do not do drugs and certainly do not condone it. The government is wasting manpower on Marijuana when they could be using this power on real and deadly crime.

However, Marijuana would be one less narcotic to worry about in the global fight against dangerous drugs that kills and promote violence.

Look around you, almost everything around us today in any country in the world at some time or the other was illegal. Today, governments around the world control most of the past illegal vices. Gambling, cigarettes, controlled drugs and alcohol are just the tip of the iceberg. The oldest profession in the world should also be considered since it is going to continue with criminality attached to it. Once the criminal element is removed, then it is possible to manage it ethically and morally. Righteousness has no place in a logical and thoughtful society.

There comes a time when you have to pick your battles in order to survive. When any government removes criminality from such a profiting and successful enterprise, it becomes manageable and regulated with unimaginable profit.

No one will secretly and illegally buy something that is readily available legally for sale. That way, the government will force the criminals out of business and that in itself reduces crime not to mention the legal revenue.

Why don't the police spend their energies on the peddlers of the white powder and the white collar criminals.Why do you all waste your time with marijuana when the multinationals destroy our bananas because of greed.
