The carnage on our roads will stop only when laws regarding the roads and traffic have been reviewed and enforced. This seems like another tragic accident. A few months earlier four people were killed in a terrible accident. St Lucia seems to have forgotten about that Easter Sunday Morning. I'm certain that the relatives of the dead have not. What will happen to the guy responsible for causing the April 12th crash? Will the police be given breathiliser kits to test alcohol levels in drivers on our roads? Will paramedics become fully fledged paramedics and not firemen who have been taught first aid? There is so much that we get fundamentally wrong. It is no surprise anymore when these terrible things happen. St Lucia has so much great stuff to offer, its a shame that all of the good stuff gets overshadowed by tragedy constantly.

So sad especially around this time.
