I do not see a quick recovery in the USA in 2010. Many people have to renew in 2010 their mortgage at higher rates and will fail to do so.
Again foreclosures and banking problems. In Europa the big problem are the enormous loans to Eastern Europe. They cannot pay back these loans in Euros as their local currencies have devaluated a lot like 50% in Poland. 1,5 trillions Euro's in Loans. What we need in St. Lucia is technical schools for electricians, plumbers and carpenters a.o. Good finishing crews for home building.
