They had both quit the UWP long before this. Unfortunately this does not mean a hill of beans as they have nothing to offer but words.
Both Prudent and McDonald are just waiting to feed at the trougth.

The one thing which all oliticians have in common are words. Words are responsible for flambeau winning the last election. Words made a bunch of hungry idiots with nothing to offer rule over our country. Words made a pack of idiots who could not even pass common entrance exams become ministers. No matter how you slice it all comes back to words.
Even Obama got elected over in America on words. Does he have anything to offer? We are finding out right now. Ayen!

A pleasant surprise that these two "UWP Hacks" should resign at the same time. These two "exiles" now living in Brooklyn, were the happiest when UWP won. When John Compton visited New York after the victory, the two of them together with Gregor Granderson and even Michael Bartlett, of the famed Helinites scandal, were Compton's clones. I guess they all expected something, but the "great one" passed. Did anybody but me noticed that they both began trying to make a name for themselves with semi-intelligent writing in the local newspapers.
I hope the SLP does not allow more of the enemy them into the Party.
You know there are plenty guys singing calypso who just don't understand the concept of giving advise in song, and this is where most falter.For example they will sing about "the government must go" but the calypso ends without them giving or suggesting an alternate party to run the country. This is just what McDonald & Prudent have done here. If they are so politically consious, one would have thought they would tell us where to go after King. What is the alternative? When they have done so, I would be able to judge their reasoning more seriously.
PE'LAY, i cannot understand your logics. What do you mean by saying the guys should give us an alternative and say where to go after King? You speaking as if King is doing so well in the country and there is nothing better than him. Prudent and Mc Donald has the right to resign from the uwp just as some others did before them, because they all realize the uwp is a waste of time. This is NOT their job or duty to give St Lucians any alternative, the people must decide an alternative themselves. Let us go back a little, SLP was in government, they had faults as every government has, but many things was happening in the country and the country was developing as it had NEVER seen in it history, St Lucia was developing so quickly even Barbadians were coming to St Lucia to work in construction, which had NEVER happened before, it was St Lucians who were flocking to Barbados. The uwp begged us saying they will do better and is a better alternative, we gave them the chance. Any honest St Lucian will will see that they are 100% worse than the SLP, nothing much is happening in the country and they are only creating scandals after scandals. So instead of changing for he better we chose a worse alternative. Now we have two choses to choose from, so Prudent and Mc Donald are not the ones to tell us St Lucians which one is the better alternative, any blind man will see that the SLP is the better alternative, because NO NEW PARTY WILL COMING NOW WILL MAKE AN IMPACT IN ST LUCIA NOW. Over to you PA'LAY.

Bravo! Prudent and McDonald. U are just emphasizing what I have long said. King is a disaster waiting to happen. From the looks of things it seems like he is not even aware of what year it is. That is so sad. But even more depressing is the fact that some among us pretend to see positive things in him. I mean, come on!
Prudent expected to be appointed UN ambassodor under the King government. When it was rumored that Irwin Hippolyte would get the job he went into high gear criticising Hippo left right and center. When St Aimee was appointed that was it for Therold. He formed the LPM known locally as "Las Parlay Magee" party. He, Mcdonald and Winifred Actie are the only known members of this party. Blue, blue.
Who cares? Have the UWP treated any of their supporters right?? Prudent is still young and can learn from that experience. He has lots of time left to make a contribution to his country if that is what he wants to do.
Prudent is as good as he will ever get, and that eh good enuff to get a job. His snout will be in the first trough he's allowed to approach. Hopefully, this move of theirs will finish them off for good from the public eye and we can get rid of jokers in politics.

Most politicians are hungry for power, remember Kenny trying to change their constitution so he could be leader for life?
No matter how much they have accomplished, they crave for the power to go with it. Without power they are nothing!
These guys need an award.
