What is wrong with PM King? Why did he have lie. What a shame.

Anonymous said...

Is that your claim to fame? You helped raise funds.

LIAR! LIAR! Why did he lie. We will never know with some politicians. They never learn.

Anonymous said...

Your King is discredited. Liar, Liar, your pants on fire.

As far as I can see King cant tell his left from his right; has no clue what year it really is and even more sad, he is certainly missing a few brain cells. No wonder he always seems to be in a daze.

King is two olives short of a martini.

All those yellow UWP tadpoles know well what the Prime Minister is capable of but we are such an immoral, unethical and we tolerate such mediocrity that this government will only survive in St. Lucia. Hooray!!! We are proud ST. Lucians.
The Prime Minister has been caught in many a lie to save his pants....and then we still see everything when his pants falls!!!

King has virtually received a pass in the media. This guy is more arrogant than any politician I have ever known. This humble bussiness is a ploy. King is sneeky and deceptive. I am happy he was exposed again for who he really is.

Sounds like you're arguing with yourself, that's the first sign of schizophrenia.

Anonymous said...

And you are revealing to us the signs of a UWP hack at the first sign of trouble in your party's camp. Make a normal thinking person look insane. Not this time. We can all see the farce that now passes as government in St Lucia.

Don’t worry. It’s a sign they are scared as hell. Why would they go to the ends of the world to demonize these gentlemen?

Anonymous said...

These gentlemen are political opportunists and I don't trust politicians, none of them.

Anonymous said...

Isn't an opportunist someone who joins an organisation in hopes of getting something in return? The news is reporting one is a born uwp and the other was with flambeau for decades.

Frank,

Go take a job on the docks.

Anonymous said...

I don't think u would have an answer for this one.

King needs to be hypnotised asap. Or given a lie detector test. Maybe then we'll really find out what we already know; Kenny Anthony is his worst nightmare and he knows he is the most unsuitable choice ever for the job of pm.

I do not know what is in the hearts of M. Prudent or Mr. Mc Donald but it is intriguing what perception can be gained from articles and writings in the media.

It is great that both these gentlemen want to enter the political fray -the more the merrier. Their experiences abroad can only help to broaden the political options for the people of St. Lucia. They do need though, to work on their public relations.

You get the nagging impression that they are seen as just one more set of opportunists. First dissapointed that they did not get UWP appointments in the Big Apple (St. Aimee beat them to it)then anguish that the SLP also has not taken them into the fold at the levels that they would appreciate.

Resentment seems to lead and confusion seems to follow their paths. They need to better define themselves and their policies and what they can contribute to St. Lucian society. They cannot do it from the eastern seaboard of the US or on blogs or from occasional potshots at sitting government officials.

They have done a fantastic job. They proved to all of St Lucia that King is a liar.

Anonymous said...

Up to now Prudent and McDonld have not presented one idea to the country. You want to help the country show you have ideas and a plan.

I did not follow it closely but I gather that Prime Minister King said he did not know those individuals (McDonald and Prudent) and then they showed that he did.

Unfortunately given the depths to which politics has fallen in St. Lucian you think the electorate are concerned that St. Lucia's Prime Minister did or did not know two people that are of no consequence to the public at large ?

P.M. King pulling a political "white lie" with regard to persons unknown to the electorate is irrelevant to the people of St. Lucia.

St. Lucians are concerned with their day to day living or survival and will not take these two guys seriously unless they prove they have money or some legacy or some political capital or some name recognition based in some other field. On all counts for the average St. Lucian they are nonentities.
So far Prudent and McDonald are as relevant to the political process as far as St. Lucians are concerned , as Martinus Francois or Assie Alexander -probably even less.

This is not meant as a putdown -it is simply a fact that they have no name recognition or track record as a Allan Chastanet or Phillip Pierre and no back up with a party or anything.

You should not comment about men you know nothing of.

Anonymous said...

I understand your concern about the political options for these two gentlemen but unfortunately the fact is that they have no significant or politically relevant name recognition in St. Lucia.

Do a poll tomorrow and not 2% of the people would know or care if they know these individuals.

Just accept this fact and help them to work on it because it would be good to get them involved in the life of St. Lucia at that level.

Who are these guys?

One is not very prudent and the other serves burgers at McDonalds !

What you have are two petulant and irritable political wannabees sitting up in Brooklyn and taking potshots at all and sundry. Kenny this, King that, Chastanet this and Fredericks that.

Stephenson King- Minister of Government (more than one term), Prime Minister, Chairman of the UWP – and they still want to say he has accomplished nothing when they aspire to START doing what he has already accomplished.

The UWP have severed ties with them. The Labour Party have a vibrant young man running their affairs in New York and it keeping things ticking over there so Kenny does not need them to handle any of the SLP’s affairs in NY. St. Aimee has them under control from the Embassy.
Drifting in some kind of limbo adrift from the political field in St. Lucia both Prudent and McDonald think that a long distant PR campaign with an occasional blog can keep their flames and egos burning.
The electorate do not know who they are. Labour don’t want them. Flambeau don’t want them.
What an impotent joke.

I gurantee none of them have a job. They are living in some run down apartment in brooklyn with roaches everywhere and they want to be leaders in our country. Go learn how to feed yourself before you can aspire to to be leaders.

You claim not to know these guys, i will not blame you, you do not appreciate St Lucians like yourself but you continue to pretend to know and support a non St Lucian like Compton. St lucians like ourselves are never god enough for us, they are always looked downed upon as inferior. You can never be a literate St lucian, who read and is interested in St lucia affairs and claim that you never hear about these two gentle men, or they have never contributed to St Lucia. I do not know these men personally but i know Mc Donald was an executive member of the uwp and Prudent was an active member of the party. I know these men also is active in mobilizing the St Lucians in New York. I also know that Prudent has made many contributions in the form of donations on behalf of his organization in New york, to the youth of Gros Islet or St Lucia.

Anonymous said...

Say what all of you want. If you claim St Lucians don't know these men well after exposing King they don't need any additional name recognition. They try a ting and look like it stuck.

I hear even McDonald turned down King for a job when he was waiting to become the accidental Prime Minister. And of course he has a basic 4 in home ec.

Anonymous said...

by the way what education these fellas have any way to qualify them for a job with any government?

Anonymous said...

What fellas are you talking about, maybe is is fellas like the kings, Tucker and Guy Josephs etc. What qualification do these fellas have to be PM and ministers?

Anonymous said...

I don't know why you took time to respond to this betize.

Anonymous said...

You think if Mc Donald was not qualified he would have been editor of the voice newspaper? Is King qualified to be editor?

Anonymous said...

It's the usual politics. They know well that both McDonald and Prudent and well educated.
