You see what i was saying all along, our present government have something to gain from these criminals, because Mayers is saying he want crime to be reduced by only 50% in 2010. I know if Mayers and his government is serious about crime or anything happening in the country, they would demand from the police that crime be reduced by 100%. We all know that is very difficult to achieve, but at lease if we achieve 80% that would be very good. Why do Mayers and his government want crime to be reduced by only 50%. So what did he say to the cruise people in Miami? If he say that to the people, no cruise ships would ever visit St Lucia again, knowing that crime is only reduced to 50%. That is the government who came into office with the promise that they would stop crime.

We are all unhappy....What are we going to do about it? Wait for Mayers? No lets go for it....Mobilise your families, your friends, your neighbours...Picket his office...Let them know that their seats are under threat, come next election... We demand action against crime today...otherwise..'we shall hop'

DaProdigalSon, it is easy to say let us mobilize, let us picket, but that is easier said than done. It is not an easy thing for anyone to organize anything against the government without a backlash. Most people will not do that if there is not something to benefit them personally or immediately. Although they are boasting that we are democratic country, people are still being victimized if they do anything against the government, so people are protecting their jobs or their ability to get a job.
