There you go Pe'lay. The Cabinet was not dishonest when they dropped the word, they were just undignified.

Thank you Mr. Fletcher for explaning to St. Lucia and myself why the word was dropped from the Pledge.
However I must advise you that you are wrong when you say that I was told of the pending change and the nature of the change.
In case you are not certain of this you could investigate further.
I was told of the inpending change, and was told that it was a small change which would not really alter the Pledge tremedously, and for which I would still receive the full credit as the author. Mr. Fletcher, I may be many things, but I am not a liar. Please do not make me look like a liar. I was never told of the nature of the change. I was never told that the change would be to omit the word "HONESTY". Had I been told this, I would never have agreed to it, and today I would not be asking why it was left out.
