2011 OPENS WITH A BANG!

No one is safe when we pretend that because crime has not touched any member of our family, and we are barricaded behind burglar bars!

Now we know that we are not safe just because we can get in and out of our cars and go from point A to B.

We are our brother's keeper. We must demand much more of the people that the electorate has unfortunately seen fit to send to parliament.

We know now that the UWP is a basket case and that they have yet to take it to the right level. Perhaps, next time, we will try to get people who can operate above the level of commonsense.

The GREAT PRETENDERS who kept their mouths shut with dog-muzzles, like under gag orders remained quiet, without one word, when leaders in Government and the Private Sector, engaged in, you know what, and were never condemned for their wrong and illegal activities both during KENNY ANTHONY'S GOVERNMENT and then JOHN COMPTON and THEN, STEPHENSON KING. The country is now reeling from the worldwind. Not even the Christian Council dared to take a decent and principled stand when all the wrongdoing was taking place. GOD DAMN SAINT LUCIA. You are getting what you truly deserve. YOU HYPOCRITES. It is persons like you, who allow evil to flourish, when you hide your hides behind your closed doors and never took a principled stand when the wrongs and evil, were being perpetuated. Don't come now like fools looking for answers from our Police Commissioner. He is a decent man. You need to ask yourselves the questions, and answer yourselves. You bloody hypocrites.

Sorry, may I continue , I meant WHIRLWIND, not WORLDWIND.

When blatant funds were being moved out of the Government Treasury into the nefarious NATIONAL CONSERVATION AUTHORITY under KENNY ANTHONY administration, and the Head of that NCA provided with a cushy Regional Job. Not a word. When this notorious act of HELENAIR, HELENITES BUILDING SALE IN NEW-YORK, ROCHAMEL, WITH GLARING infelicities, not a damn word from the good men of St. Lucia. When the JESSICA AFFAIR and the FOSTIN AFFAIR, THE FUNDING SCHEME, THE UN FUNDS SCANDAL AFFAIR, ET, ETC. under JOHN COMPTON, not a word from the good men of St. Lucia. Now with Stephenson King, and his men, Director of Public Prosecutions files here, there and nowhere, etc. etc. etc. the good men of St. Lucia, said not a word. I join the BLOGGER above and say, you are all reaping exactly what you sow. Don't plant corn and expect to reap gooseberries. You evil wretches. Anyone asked lately of the so-called good men and women, about what has happened to the Fedee case, the Verlinda case, the Marcia Jules Case, the Giselle Georges case, and so on and so forth. You all had better remove the beam in your eyes, before looking for motes in the eyes of the Police Force. They are citizens just like all of you. Check your so-called leaders in Business, in Government, and in the Churches. You will be better off for that.

Well St Lucia's PM said it loud and clear "No one is safe in St Lucia"when death greeted him at his door!!!. The PM and his cabinet colleagues have no clue as to what to do, to say or how to actually tackle this scurge. Meanwhile the Opposition sits like a lame duck; no answers either and waits for the electorate to hand them the government on a platter. Well St Lucians we are in a REAL quagmire. WE DO NOT KNOW WHOM TO VOTE INTO OFFICE; who will protect us and keep us safe. What do we do? Do we as citizens have the answers? Lets share it please; we need to help ourselves because the ones we elected to office to ensure that our society is safe have not been able to do the job neither in government or opposition.

We have to look DEEPER at CHARACTER and also EXPERTISE. We need to elect people who can give more than just chicken and rum at election time.

People who have less than average intelligence should be avoided like JOOK BOIS and Leery Carasco, like the Black plague.

We did a very bad job by giving a foreigner control of the country for 30 years. He almost stole the country by putting everything in his name.

He wanted to become prime minister and rushed the country to independence. 30 years and we are not able to make any progress in economic independence.

The young people are taking it out on the older folk for being so dumb as to listen to people like Jook Bois and Carasco.

Now we have gone again elect real cabinet full of crooks. Jailbirds and drug barons stopping the police from doing its work. Doctors selling patients medical records for profit. Ministers under-invoicing. Ministers lying under oath before an Appeals court.

Idiot Flambeaus don't care two hells what their ministers do as long as they are getting political crumbs.

The rains fall on the Godly and the unGodly. Just how many more must die before we stopping voting for crappy food and rum. When will we stop voting for ne'er do well politicians who are just full of crap?

Maybe King can take a page from Kenny's book--and ask the criminals to give us a chance!!

King plus Kenny = helpless!

wow i am just at a lost for proper adjectives, to aptly get a sense of what my once, peaceful loving people, have allowed, fair Helen become in such a short space of time, with a murder rate that surpasses, most major Us Cities,I much safer in America than i will ever be in St Lucia.

That is what you get when you vote complete idiots to office and back this up with jackasses like Jookbois talking crap on radio in support of the elected idiots. The country goes by the tail like Haiti. In the computer age, they say garbage in, garbage out.

What did you expect? Did you expect St. Lucia could get good government when you have idiots, rogue MPs like Marcus and Federicks, crooks and excons in the Cabinet?

Andrew Baptiste, my uncle. One of the most mild-mannered individuals you could ever meet, this is heart-breaking.......when will the powers that be take control of the deteriorating situation in SLU? So sad...

Bravo!!!!! This is the best statement of the year!!!

"Maybe King can take a page from Kenny's book--and ask the criminals to give us a chance!!

King plus Kenny = helpless!"

Well done!!! LOL

Yes indeed, the politics must change in St. Lucia. Get rid of the salopwie
mal langue politics, get people who can help the country sincerely, who have a record of honesty, and a track record of valuable work which made a difference for St. Lucia. Stop looking for politicians who are prepared to pay you for a vote, whether with money, chicken, other food or rum.

A uwp goverment for four years and still haven't got it together A group of good for nothing miss leaders who are bent on holding unto power and see fair helen go down to the dogs what a shame

Anonymous said...

It was already going to the dogs under Kenny. They are just continuing from where Kenny left off. 43 Murders under Kenny, 48 Murders under UWP in any given year --Same difference!

This is such an unfortunate incident. It is a clear indication that there are many social problems in St. Lucia that the Government has yet to address. Youth unemployment, lack of after school programs, and educational programs, teenage pregnancy, homelessness and most of all the youth. Teachers can no longer discipline young people anymore for fear of getting shot or reprisals. Corruption in the present and past governments also contributes towards increasing crimes, as the government has no respect for small business owners who are trying to create more jobs for the youth.

The police seem to untrained and do not have the expertise to handle such massive crimes and crime scenes, so in most cases not much comes out of a murder investigation and the criminals are still out there committing more crimes. I am pleading to the Government of St. Lucia to seek regional or international intervention to assist the police and themselves with the rapid rate of crimes in St. Lucia.

Andrew Baptiste did not deserve to die such a gruesome death; he was someone’s child, father and husband. So the most the police can do is to help the family get closure by finding those criminals who committed such heinous crime. May his soul rest in peace and may God give his family the strength day by day to deal with his death and situation.

It is so shameful that the only thing that some people can remember about kenny more than a decade ago is he ask the criminals to give us a chance. They pretend to forget all the good he did for the country.
(1) Schools for ALL of us, all over St Lucia, both primary and secondary.
(2) New mental hospital, new prison, new general hospital, forensic lab, many new police and fire stations.
(3) Two state of the art highways one in the north and one in the South.
(4) Two state of the art sporting stadia one in the north and one in the south.
(5) Many new hotels and guest houses.
(6) New fisheries complexes.
(7) brand new car park.
(8) Two brand new government offices complexes.
(9) Build new and renovate many heath centers.
(10) Build a new modern garbage dump.
(11) Kept St Lucia very clean through STEP.
(12) Kept away from the beaches for tourist and local alike, with the beach rangers.
(13) he brought in the British police to help our police force.
I could go on and on. It seem some people pretend not to remember of these good things. I want anyone to point out any achievement of the UWP government for it 4 years in office.

What good was all of this, if there is no peace, noone wants come to st. lucia. no security. only crime, violence and more violence. a prime ministercriminals to give the people of his country a chance, and he is a so-called lawyer. and that is not a serious position for our peolpe? give me a break. The criminals have not forgotten this. That is why ST. lucia started slipping away under kenny anthony.

In the string of achievements, there was hardly any long-lasting job creation. Kenny does NOT KNOW ENOUGH ECONOMICS to understand how to create an economy that does not depend on handouts.

Show me any politician today, who can THINK a way of getting St. Lucians to create jobs for themselves then I will go on their platform and ask you to vote.

Never mind UWP bookie Jukebois and wily Cayote-Carasco. They are singing for their supper as usual. In the meantime, Kenny takes us to the kennel and King us for the killing.

St. Lucia is one hell hole! Two weeks in the year and two murders already.

Murderous thugs in cabinet. Excons in cabinet. Liars in Cabinet. Idiots in Cabinet. Crooks in Cabinet.

What's missing?

Okay people. It really does not matter how much emotions wee express...it won't change the price of eggs! We are all saddened by the death of Andrew Baptiste and we are saddened by the death of Chris Kelly too. Regardless to who these people were they did not deserve to die the way they did. Now, recommending executions or extermination of the culprits, decrying the Police Force, demonizing the politicians won't matter. Building more prisons, shooting them on sight won't help the volatile situation our country is in. What we have to do is to put our heads together to find a way to solve this crime situation in Saint Lucia. Somebody suggested "MOTHERS AGAINST VIOLENCE." A group that will listen to the concerns of young men, bring them to the fore and deal with them in an effort to save our young men. That is a great idea. Apparently, sporting arenas are not enough to keep our youth constructively occupied. We need to create employment for these young idle minds and hands. The question is, are there any mothers out there willing to take up the challenge? We need some hotline where these people can call and say, "I need a job,can you help me?" Academically inclined or not there should be something we can figure out to help them. Now maybe we cannot save everybody, but we can try to save as many as we can. We could help our young people to work together for the common good rather than to compete with each other for simply personal gains. That is a start in the right direction. So who will bell the cat?

Anonymous said...

Who will Bell the Cat? Which Cat. Every Attorney General in St. Lucia know about the heavy cocaine trafficking going on in and between St. Lucia, and there is enough knowledge in the public domain as well about who the high-rollers are. So the little ones at the bottom, are pitted against each other. It's the cocaine and other illegal drugs and guns trafficking, that has brought this country to its knees, just like JAMAICA. What's new? But you all like hypocrites that you are turned a blind eye. Everyone practically, was on someone's payroll, many acan be bought. Corruption flourishing under all Governments. No one cares. Tke what you now get, and suck it up.

Anonymous said...

fire burn all u bloodclatt criminals.
And the so call police who constantly nagging at the true rastaman for a single spliff. why don't u go get the guns outta the streets. that wiil help to curb our current crisis

Anonymous said...

Do St. Lucians even remember who was responsible for the introduction of shipments of illegal firearms into St. Lucia between the years 1979-1981?
This was public knowledge. The people who received the guns and their families told others about it. This is part of where it all began. They were prepared to sell their mothers for political power and a few dollars. But the same St. Lucians tried tried putting on a Punch and Judy Show for a funeral when those wretches were called off the land, by the POWER that holds our collective breaths in HIS hands. You tink GOD is mocked. HE is no respecter of persons. So take heed. Watch out, next is TSUNAMI! Change for dirty, evil, wretched and corrupt ways, if you want to see some light.

Change your dirty, evil, wretched and corrupt ways, if you want to see some light. Stand up for what is right. Don't cover up evil.
