Err:
If you take a moment to recollect, we can pretty much agree that we have had a number of residents from the CDC area who have distinguished themselves throughout the nation and abroad with a number of well respected achievements. Forgive me but for some reason as an opinion writer, you seem to amaze me with your sense of logic & prejudice (bias-ness). It's quite clear where you stand and there's no argument with that. However, your attempt to mimic with fellas like "Tim" and pretend you're on middle ground by your analysis of the budget presentation is insane. Yes, 'the taste of the pudding is in the eating' and it means that we will all starve with lack of implementation as in the past budgets. In my view, you perhaps wrote your piece before the budget debate was presented since a fair analysis would be to listen to all the parliamentarians and analyze the contents in its entirety.
With all due respect to you, a grandson of our favorite "Manna", rewrite your piece this time with some sense of responsibility and justification.

Respect!!!!!!

According to your level of logic the very fact that a government presents a budget, to you that is "a great budgetary achievement". No analysis of which section or sections of the economy will benefit, will lose or is ignored is important.

According to you then. irrespective of the population groups that are hurt, that are ignored or their causes never brought to light, once a budget is presented, that is "a great budgetary achievement". I hope that yours is minority opinion or else we are in deep you-know-what.
