Once your novelty gone lucians quick to move on to de next new bright star now everybody is new flambeau.....The PM MUST never forget that he did not win the 2006 elections and he got his position by default and mostly too by the confidence and trust that Sir John Compton placed in him. UNGRATEFUL some of us.....

I could not have said it better!!!

How can former UWP members join the LPM?

We face different times and different challenges; therefore, we cannot allow Mr.Compton to continue ruling St. Lucia from the grave.

John Compton don't have to rule over us from the grave but it does not mean that we should not have respect for the contribution that he made. As a supporter of the SLP i agree with the LPM that King should not try to trash John Compton while in the grave to make himself look good!

You right #5. After all, his alter egos are doing a mighty fine job already.

Name some of the great jobs done by the current bunch?

They not talking about spirit as in boloom. LOL. From what I gather they mean is that flambeau has lost its founding principles.

wow! what a blow. I listened to Mrs.Compton and was astonished to learn that on the anniversary of his death, a media house called to informed that the uwp government stated that they had no plan for his anniversary because the government and the uwp wanted to distance themselves from Sir John.

wow!wow! what a blow to us papa and mama uwpees. I for sure will not vote them ever again, and will convince anyone close to me to vote kenny & co. or LMP.

Ungrateful is a curse

Errol Barrow, from Barbados, was Compton's equivalent; and somehow Bajans have manage to move on. You hardly ever hear Barrow's name.

We in St.Lucia, on the other hand, are unable to move on.

Can you explain why Americans are still talking about George Washington and Abe Lincoln? Are they foolish for not wanting to forget their icons?

Anonymous said...

I agree with the last comment. Just because Bajans are ungrateful, does not mean we Saint Lucians should be.

Seed #14:

Americans do appreciate what George Washington and Abraham Lincoln have done; so they erected monuments in their honor; and they are remembered on major holidays.

But in St.Lucia it isn't so. Everything the King admimistration does has to be evaulated in terms of whether Mr. Compton would have approved. Again, we cannot allow a dead man to rule St.Lucia from the grave.
