It's like christmas. As soon as this christmas is over, you start making preparation for the next; you have twelve months to do so.

It's that simple; plus the young ladies have boyfriends.

Are you a dumb-ass or what? They are unemployed but they have lots of spending money.

Jack-ass, they are in the narcotics business. What else?

Now, with a collection of miscreants, jailbirds, drug barons, liars, and galley's bait for ministers in a cabinet, we are hearing about legalizing ganga.

Jamaican society infiltrating St. Lucia pushing their dope.

Jackass, are you goddamn blind?

Well, It takes a thief to catch a thief. And it is obvious that you are in the narcotic business too; you seem to know quite a lot about it.

And most importantly, I do think you are a bigger Jack-ass and dumb-ass than I am. You idiot!!!!how can you get so upset with me for not seeing things your way? Am I not entitle to my opinion?

You are part of the dumb-ass problem called the UWP.

Writer, you asked the question: "Where are our young people finding that kind of spending money these days"?

Now, when you don't get the answers you're hoping for (which is a condemnation of the UWP government), you choose to curse and insult your readers.

Why are you still in the business of Journalism; you are nothing but a thug and a closet drug baron.

Hi Carlton
Your readers are brutal and primitive, instead of just enjoying your observation in the story. Keep up the great writing. Anyway, you won't know who I am unless I tell you. Reply to the following email maryt1918@gmail.com with your personal email to talk about a few things and your input. This is not a prank, please reply. Oh, by the way, how is your singing voice doing? Now, don't be like some St Lucians and not reply, reply.

Carlton ...

If you spit on the ground, it is politicised!
If you pee green, it is politicised!
If your puke is purple, it is politicised!
If you bleed blue, it is politicised!

Just let the real jackasses make jackasses of themselves. Cool out.

It is VERY obvious that it is the same person(s) who blames the government for everything anyone comments on (he/she uses the same mixture of words all the time!!)

Oops! Just now, wait and see ... I will also be labelled a jailbird, a drug baron, a liar, a miscreant (I like that word!) .... what else?

Cheer up Carlton, do not low-rate yourself to self professed jackasses. You're bigger than that.

To my fellow blogger before me ... the same way you are entitled to write YOUR crap, Mr Ishmael is entitled to write his (or is it Mr Ishmael is entitled to his rights - hmmmm) ... just saying ...

Are you senile as well? just saying ...

Anonymous said...

You mean to say that you love crapping on the Voice too?

Anonymous said...

These days the Voice blogs have become the filthiest show on the Internet. The editor needs to remove the dirty ones, they make St Lucia look really nasty to outsiders - even worse than our current politics!

Shorter Ishmael: 'Every time I write, I enjoy winning against Jook Buwaa, Rick, Tim and the PM to see who can talk or write the most $#!&% in the local media.'

who cares

Nobody gives a xxxx about anything anymore. See who make it as PM and foreign minister? A dummy and a US jailbird. Haiti here we come.

Simple st lucians in general will spend on entertainment lavishly. However complain about the price of basic needs for survival for example, light bills, gas, water and medical. But spending on parties, liquor (the rum that do them that) no common sense. I have always been amazed whenever i visit st lucia young kids ( school age) are out partying buy drinks and gettin high.

Hey ishmael

I have often wondered the same thing. And make no mistake the carnival bands also have teenagers and young adults who do NOT work. I have always wondered how they were able to afford these expensive costumes which get pricier every year.
I know plenty of men and women who join the most expensive carnival bands and have no legal employment. I have no idea the source of their incomes.

One thing though is priorities. For many of these persons, even those who work and spend their money partying, the price of everything else is too high. You have a blackberry that you stay sending bbm on all day, yet you want to jump up and down to touch the sky when its time to pay your medical bill?

You have no idea the source of their incomes.

Same can be said, they have no idea the source of yours. And the next time you go to carnival, try to enjoy yourself instead of wondering how others could afford such expensives costumes.

This is such a foolish article. It sounds just as puerile as the young people being targeted. This man must be senile, or sitting on an old people bench wondering what passes him by.

No. He was having one of his several senior moments!

To the last blogger ... Mr Ishmael's article may not seem vital to you; but to some of us, who actually know WHY these youngsters have $$$ to spend on a lavish lifestyle which hardworking people cannot afford - this is a dangerous lifestyle, and could have serious consequences in the nearest future. It is already beginning to happen: children having children, incest, drug running, no self pride, no self worth, and the worst ... older men preying on naive younger women/girls!!

Mr Ishmael is being vigilant about this new wave and dangerous lifestyle, which we should all pay heed to. Do you have a young daughter Mr Blogger? Would you like to see an older man playing to her?

This is the future generation Mr Blogger, which our generation have failed, and miserably so. What are we doing to make them make a better nation for THEIR children?
