wow,Tete Chemin people talking about Keith Mondesir.looks like things are bad in the constituency for real. This part of the constituency is considered safe for Mondesir but yet still they are getting the short end of the stick.this is really shaping up to be an election about constituencies and not country.

I also believe that since the damn is situated in Tete Chemin, this community should never have to struggle for water.this is a travesty which must be addressed ASAP.

It always baffles me how any poor, marginalized rural communities/population would vote for UWP.

Lucians likes 'mee-zer'...What does Tete-Chemin people and UWP have in common, huh, I asks. I would understand, say the people of Vigie, Rodney Bay/Heights vote for UWP (cuz these ppl and UWP would be mem bet, mem pwell)...ah well!!

I feel you Tete Chemin people, but you voted him in, didn't you?

Just to prove that these folks will say anything all for in the name of the poor
Perfect Example that this uwp goverment is out of synch, and can't get it together,
Am wondering why these poor people who have been marginalize over the years by uwp still cling to a dead horse.
Its good to have a party you belong too, But if my party is going the wrong direction, Why should i follow them to the ditch.
Think this through.
The rights to vote should not be taken lightly, Because it has to do with my future, the future of my country, and our children, Children's future.
We have to decide and make the right choice, That will impact Negative or positive base on our decision,

This man should resign immediately if there is any small truth in the newspaper claim. Well done the reporter for having the integrity to write and publish this article. I feel so sorry for these people, I hope this article has a positive result and their lives start to improve.

My hope and aim is to see that these journalist start going one by one at these goverment ministers, Starting from the prime minister all the way to the last one and we stlucians will realize what thiese guys have been invovle in and will expose this uwp regime and the diehard supporters will understand that they are hurting their children as well as the future of their country.

I love Democracy as Autocracy has been and still is devastating to modern living. With democracy comes responsibility and honesty. When a reporter writes an article it is important that relevant research is done so the public is given balanced information so that the truth is discerned.
On the other hand it is important that the public view articles a little deeper and not simply believe what appears on the surface. It is important to ask ourselves what happened, why it happened, how it happened and possibly we will get more accurate information.
This article highlights Dr. Mondesir’s pond which is done all over the Island either for irrigation, fish farming or both. This pond is both for irrigation and growing Tilapia and Tilapia feeds on Mosquito Larvae. I hope you get my drift.
The two holes of mucky stagnant water near the pig pens mentioned are two concrete structures where Organic Fertilizer produced by the Bio-Gas Digester is collected for application to crops and pasture either via irrigation or manual application in the case of the solid components of the Organic Fertilizer. Neither fly nor mosquito larvae can survive in Organic Fertilizer produced in a Bio-Gas Digester because of its chemical composition, produced in anaerobic conditions.
A Bio-Gas Digester is an appropriately designed structure where organic matter including farm waste is digested in anaerobic conditions to produce methane gas, which is combustible and Organic Fertilizer for crop production. Because of the anaerobic process involved, Bio-Gas Digesters prevents offensive smells and negative impacts to the environment.
My point is a little enquiry, research or contacting the relevant authorities would have made the writer and public a little wiser, except if the article was designed to cause malice.
Did the writer investigate the possibility of other mosquito breeding areas apart from the common areas prone to mosquito breeding in a high rainfall area such as Millet?

We still not trusting Mondesir with his story, because of his history, once a boldface liar and cheater always a cheater. He always have a way of polishing things to make it sound nice, Bio-gas, Tilapia etc. Who would believe that? Where is the City Scan he said he had in his peccession whiles campaigning to donate to the hospital, liar. As far as I'm concern once you are caught stealing from government you should be relieved of you position period. This man should be in jail.

This articles shows the depth the Voice has plunged in garbage reporting. The "national newspaper" is being used and abused in the name of politics. The editor has serious work to do to bring back the Voice to the glory days.

Yes the man is a TIEF. How can anyone ever trust Keith Mondesir, TAX EVADER!! I sent a similar blog reminding Lucians about Mondesir's tax evading ways yesterday and it seems that UWP Victor Marquis, Voice Editor, removed it from the BLOG!!! Marquis I'm up to your game, you are there at the distinguished Garnet Gordon's newspaper, still batting for the same goons who killed my uncle, JGM Compton. I'll remind you of your discrimination against my BLOGS when I'm in St. Lucia this Christmas. Regards, Pimpa.

A GROUP OF WORTHLESS MEN ELECTED CARE ABOUT NO ONE BUT THEM SELVES, TRYING TO DRAIN THIS COUNTRY BEFORE THEIR TERM END...WE HAVE FORGIVEN OURSELF...NEVER AGAIN!

What investigation that person talking about? All investigation of Mondesir has been completed he is already found guilty and was convicted by the high court, he should be in jail all now so. No more investigation, he is not credable in anything he says. That is the DNA of criminals they never speaks the truth. He even had the nerve to take with him his partner in crime to court to lie for him. So it is not now he will ever speak the truth about what is happening on his farm. My mother always tell me growing up, "all thieves are liars and liars are thieves." That is the bottom line.

I feel for the people of tete chemin but they vote for this man, mondesir is a liars i will never understand how the people in that constituencies will vote for that man again a second time he should not have the chance of even going back to run for election a second time this man is no leader he should never been in public office, no class

Only in St. Lucia, but distinguished personalities like Sir Garnet Gordon and Honourable Romanus Lansiquot must be "turning" in their graves to see such a BOLD-FACED tax evader like Keith Mondesir still at large in St. Lucia. Little insignificant ghetto boys are in jail for a stick of marijuana, yet a CROOK like Keith Mondesir is relaxing at Tuxedo Villas. Lucians wake up PLEASE!!!!

@Anonymous above, my sentiments exactly. I have warned members of my family, who are struggling to survive. If they vote for these bunch of criminals they better don't expect anything from me in the US.
