Our International airport in the southern part of the island (while most of the tourist activities are in the north)is a fundamental mistake.
Airlines coming into Vieux Fort will not last. Look at the record and see for yourself.
Every single person who lands in Vieux Fort then has to travel to the north via a long miserable and winding road will rather not return to St.Lucia; and I can't blame them.
So REDjet will just be the latest of a long list of airlines that will start off good but then suddenly disappear.
The LPM 3rd party said to reduce the pain and build a rail system from Vfort to Gros Islet, I think. Some say that they mad.
I do not know, but I have never seen a train travel on a hill. Can that be done?
We will have to dig a lot tunnels, can we afford that?
The LPM has ideas and solutions that are result oriented.
