You all Saint Lucians must learn to analyze things, properly, before you jump to conclusions.
That is precisely why you all are in shit-street today. Absolutely no analysis. You recycle the same crap of persons who cannot perform, in politics and in the civil service over and over.
Get smart, educate yourselves properly, if your country is to revive.
Isn't it the right time to pick a fight with the authorities over a name change? F--king politics in every thing in this small country of ours. Something of that nature cant be settled amicably without being confrontational? They should just get rid of these half educated lazy ass unprofessional idiots from the public service and employ young people who are really yearning to give service to this country.

This can have some serious legal implications. Things must not be allowed to be done haphazardly. It is high time people in position in St. Lucia think logically before they act. Very unprofessional indeed!

They may have had good intentions but they broke the law.
Why, absolutely. Isn't that what this UWP government has done and continued doing from the time they took office - the continuing scandals after scandals of breaking the laws.
As a fireman within the aforementioned organisation you should know that there's is much more to this that meets the eye. We are headed by one of the most arrogant and incompetent person on our small island. One who is unwilling to take on board the concerns of his men, one who hasn't had a meeting with his men in the past two years. All he does is put stuff into place that will demoralise and demotivate his men. Its high time that the home affairs ministry sees the chiefs incompetencies and have him replaced or transferred asap because he is unfit to run such a significant organisation. This man who wont rally round his men when they want to further their education and in return modernise the department. How can a man run a department and hold personal grudges against certain individuals in the organisation. Take it from one who has been there and done that there is more to this issue than meets the eye..
What St Lucians need now is a taste of the catch arse that Americans and Europeans are getting and all this crap will stop
