The St. Lucia Labour Party's lack of political decency from the 1970s is coming home to roost.

One of the strains running through how the Labour Party has run politics has always been one of maypuis, roro and indecency. Just look at their representatives such as the Minister of Tourism and the President of the Senate.

When the current Prime Minister was Leader of the Opposition he refused to attend any government functions because he felt it was too demeaning. In other words he ignored his duty and public responsibility and did as he pleased because he FELT that he must only attend as Prime Minister.

Look at his rudeness and ignoring of the then government's foreign policy in being rude and uncivilized to the Taiwanese.

It is this lack of personal responsibility which has been the hallmark of his administrations and has been well passed onto our younger generation.

What does this comment have to do with this news article?

The anonymous blogger should use his discretion and post his grievance in the "Letter & Opinions" columns.

And further, how does the anonymous blogger KNOW what the current prime minister thought, or felt about his position when he was in office at the time?

Mr Anonymous Blogger - please use this forum with respect and discretion.

Meanwhile, my sincere condolences go out to Mr AlBee's family. He was always courteous and willing to assist his customers, and did not deserve to leave this earth from such a senseless act. I hope his killer(s) are brought to justice - and soon!! R.I.P. Mr AlBee.

Condolences to the family. I hope the cops get off thier backsides and do something and not come up with some majee that gives them an excuse to allow the perpetrator to get away with it.

Condolences to Mr Albee's family. Sadly the police can be slapped in the face with reasons, suspects etc, but most times they don't act. I would also worry that they will fit someopne up for the crime. There is no justice here.
