Creat the climate and the foundation for people to explore their brain power and creativity to lift themselves out of poverty.I personally believe that there is a Bill Gates and a Steve Jobbs on the island, just as there was an Arthur Lewis and a Derek Walcott. Believe!

The Government St.Luica abuses of Diplomatic Passports and privileges!
Rufus George Bousquet is a Saint Lucian politician who represents the constituency of Choiseul for the United Workers Party. Following the UWP victory in December 2006, he became Minister for External Affairs In early June 2007 Bousquet was dismissed from the government by Prime Minister John Compton; some speculation attributed the dismissal to the restoration of relations with Taiwan.
The former foreign minster external affair Rufus George Bousquet is listed on the Federal Bureau of prisons as a US convict for passport fraud under name of Bruce Duane Tucker. His prison number is 77316-012. He was released from the US Federal prison on 09-12-1984.
After his release from prison in 1984, he returned to St. Lucia and changed his name by Deed poll to JMD Bousquet, the 2nd. The deed poll document from the registry revealed that at the time of running the Choiseul Seat in 1992, his legal name in St. Lucia was actually JMD Bousquet, the 2nd.

Rufus Bousquet has refused to maintain his case against the Labour Party's theft of the General Elections in November of 2011 because he wants to keep his diplomatic passport. For this reason he sold his colleagues for 30 pieces of silver.

Kenny Anthony is no less corrupt for he gave away the Diplomatic passport to Bousquet when Rufus is not serving in any Governmental capacity. Is this not an abuse of power and a direct violation of Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of 1961 by St. Lucia’s prime minster Kenny Anthony?

Why would the United States Department of Home Land Security permit a felon convicted of US passport fraud entry into U.S.A on a diplomatic passport that he is not legally entitled to possess?

Interesting enough, The St.Luica Star News paper achieves no long has any information on the "Bruce Duanne Tucker story, one would think since Mr. Wayne editor in chief broke the story in 2007, his news paper's achieves would continue to carry such an important story in it’s data base. I willing to bet a Quid Pro Quo between Ricky Wayne and Mr. Tucker exist.

Some people have no integrity. Why even spend even one red cent on anything they have to say? Why? Despicable behaviour like political convenience should never be rewarded. That societal rag and scandal sheet should be thrown on to the trash heap. Down with two-faced scumbags!

St. Lucians will soon find out that this budget is as it has always been with the St. Lucia Labour Party. All talk and no results.
Already we can see massive expenditures with huge leakages so there will be no miltiplier effect for all the expenditure.

St. Lucians are already experiencing a slowed economy, gas price increases to be followed by a poorly implemented VAT with mhigher prices for the middle class.

We will also find out that this is going to be the most vindictive and vicious Government that St. Lucia has ever had with attempts made to get UWP supporters as the party hacks gain control of the levers of government.

Above, what is wrong with SLP surrounding themselves with their likes - SLP SUPPORTERS - to forward SLP's agendas, rather than have UWP in those positions to sabotage SLP's policies. I say, SLP, get rid of all UWP supporters in high positions - demote them, where they will not be in ANY position to influence policies.

Kenny should consult with Canada, VAT is a good way to start...the more you spend the more money the government gets to help the poor and have universal health care etc.

150 days have passed since this government came into power and all we have heard is about more and more hack apponitments and increases in the size of government.

Nothing on Taiwan even though we know that Kenny met with the Taiwanese BEFORE elections and promised to keep them in St. Lucia. so instead of the Tiwanese working to help St. Lucia we have to wait until "kenny and tony" fake us out and "decides" on keeping Taiwan.

Nothing on Black Sigatiga.

Tourism summer sales are way down.

VAT to be introduced to give the SLP more money to waste as is their normal way of business.

Gas prices gone up.

Nothing on the Grynsberg fiasco.

Welcome to BITTER DAYS !

How can any sane person trust a Prime Minister with two known rapist serving in high positions in his government?

Where is the leadership in that pointless and bland speech? What the heck do teachers know about government anyhow? Even that so-called constitutional lawyer is all at sea. Every speech she makes the GG simply is running in place. She is saying the same god damn thing every time but in different words. I very bored with government. Vote or don't vote same shate.

Man, what a waste of time! The Governor is only doing recitation. She ain't sitting on no throne. So why call it a throne speech?

A thrown speech more correct. The PM is a ventriloquist. It sounds like she is the one speaking but he puts the words in her mouth. What difference does that make She is powerless to make anything happen,

We could have given that job to a computer or a robot and that would have done the same job much more cheaply and save our poor country a lot of money every year.

Geriatric ribbon cutting and hot air, that is what we just keep on paying for each year, after year, after year.

In all of this facade building. In all of this tomfoolery in which legislation tampering is put forward as progress.

Where are the jobs except for the endless civil service appointments.

This is more of the SLP coverup for their incompetence.

They tax and borrow more, they write all kinds of poorly written legislation, they appoint more and more people to the civil service and this is what they call governance.

What a joke but what do you expect from a liberal academic incapable of handling finance ?

There is a systemic and structural failure in how our goverment runs and there is also a failed ideological mindset of the St. Lucia Labour Party that has destroyed St. Lucia economically and socially.

The socialist Labour leaders see government as one big slush fund to do as they please. They have no economic descipline as seen by this budget.

There is no fiscal descipline. There is only more and more hiring of party hacks for which we tax and borrow.

We have borrowed another couple hundred million dollars. We have added vastly to the government payrole with more departments and employees. We are going to tax the people more to cover for Kenny and Phillip Pierre's economic incompetence.

The writing is on the wall.

Bitter days are here to stay !
