SLASPA could carry out its duties like every other governmental agency; but for some unknown reason SLASPA just like to tout its own horn.
The guys running SLASPA just love to see their agency in the news. Thank God the Police and Fire Dept., teachers, doctors and nurses, etc., have not adopted the SLASPA motto.

Give the guys a break.

Although, I saw little concern for greater competitiveness as a strategic concern, the seaport operations in Castries in particular, represent a strong positive for the Authority.

In this regard, it has all rights to blow its own trumpet. Moreover, the Authority ought to give a good account for all the highly qualified people on its staff.

If our the make-up of the past UWP governments was only just as quarter as good, over the last 30 years that this party held power -- especially the stinking corrupt politicians we had in the last government, like the Drug Baron, the Ex-convict, the Medical Malpractice doctor, the lying khaki-coloured minister, the country-bookie all-teeth no-brains so-called minister, plus a jumbo of an idiot for a prime minister, say what you will, the country would have been more developed and much better off.
