I see you finally getting to reality yourself. It is something that some of us have been saying repeatedly. But you what? St Lucia being a politcal nation will always seek political solutions to problems that are economical in nature.
Only time will tell

Unless and until, St. Lucians elect more educated people with more than a knowledge of law, at their fingertips, people with a very deep sense of creativity and innovation, the less likely will we see enthusiasm and positive change.

The rumshop talking idiots that strut through the corridors of the parliament are simply going through the motions.

They are collecting a salary and their guranteed pensions, while the rest of us struggle and stupidly flay our hands in the air in our uncritical support for every crap that these knuckleheads and dimwits put before us.

Meanwhile, our adored but even more moronic talkshow hosts continue to condition this nation's people's minds to accepting even more crap from our so many unmistakable retards indistinguishable from our rumshop BS-ers that we call politicians.

St. Lucian politics sucks!

If our leaders spending more then what the income of the country is then i think its highly time to make a HAIRCUT and and reduce the budget of all ministries/departments equally to a level, that the financial budget is in balance.
I think to do what is best for the country (in hard/unpopular decisions) is more worth then to win the next election.

Micah - you are wasting your time.

The solution to our travails and to the mass ignorance by the Obamas and the other political jokers in the Western world will only come after THE GREAT CRASH that will make the Great Depression seem like a picnic.

In St. Lucia the Unions, the civil servants, the SLP hacks , the businessmen, the doctors, the lawyers, the banks - all want the SLP to continue borrowing to continue the facade that we are a well economy. Who therefore is going to bell the cat! There ain't nobody left!

The farce we have going on about the unions being antagonistic to an SLP government over pay raises is crap. They are two thieves in the same gang helping each other to rob the people of St. Lucia. The civil service union works with the SLP politically and it is now payback time. They will get their money that has to be borrowed to pay their members.

90% of our businesses are 'zombie entities' only able to pay the interest on their loans and barely cover their overdrafts.

The Government is borrowing to pay civil servants.

Kenny Anthony and Phillip Pierre continue to borrow on top of the $2 billion they borrowed from 1997 -2006. They were the direct architects of our bankruptcy aided and abetted by St. Lucians who still think you can spend every year 50% more than you take in.

It is not if but when will the civil servants be laid off. Who will get the first chop is what they should be asking.

When will the roads have to be left with potholes because not even the Taiwanese money will be enough.

St. Lucians will noly wake up when this happens so you are wasting your breath.
