WASCO Seeks Increase in Water Rates

To justify its request, WASA must have an honest and open-book policy on rate issues. After all it is understood the company is still majority-owned by the public sector.

An intiguing element of this report is the amount owed to the power company.

To clear the air, WASCO must lay bare its operating costs in the media, giving cents-per-dollar paid out for:

a) electricity,
b) labour,
c) depreciation,
d) water treatment, and
e) maintenance and loss prevention.

WASA, it is time to stop treating paying customers (granted, they represent a captive clientele)
like darn mushrooms, by always keeping them in the dark and feeding them the usual B-S.

I FULLY SUPPORT WHAT THE ABOVE PERSON HAS WRITTEN. IT SEEMS CLEAR TO ME THAT KENNY ANTHONY WILL NOT BE BACK IF HE COMPLETES THIS TERM.

THESE FELLARS HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO CONSCIENCE FOR A GOVERNMENT OF THE PEOPLE. INCRESAING WATER RATES ON SUCH AN IMPORTANT COMMODITY, INSTEAD OF MAKING SURE THAT WASCO DO NOT CONTINUE UNDER CORRUPT, INCOMPETENT AND POOR MANAGEMENT.

WE NEED THE REPORT THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN SUBMITTED BY MARTIN SATNEY WHEN MILLIONS WERE PUMPED INTO WASCO UNDER THE FIRST KENNY ANTHONY ADMINISTRATION, WHEN MARTIN SATNEY WITH THOSE MILLIONS WERE SUPPOSED TO PUT WASCO BACK TO EFFICIENT AND EFFECTIVE OPERATING RESULTS.

KENNY MUST SPEAK TO THIS PERIOD. WHAT HAPPENED? WE THE PUBLIC MUST KNOW. KENNY CAN START COUNTING HIS DAYS OUT OF OFFICE.

Why should consumers have to pay for the their incompitense and mismanagement?

The jackass manager does not appear to know the first god-damn thing about managing a business.

Imagine that he felt that he could only move to a price change after getting a nudge from certain quarters.

Note, that the decision did not stem from a study of his financial statements, and nor was it informed by a credible strategic plan.

In Saint Lucia, we have managers of very large and national business entities who do not speak the language of management.

My Lord! Saint Lucia, like the person said, is really idiot country.
