If only the Governor General would provide an answer. We really must know who is selling our patrimony and for how much. A damn good move by the Leader of the Opposition.

What amazes me is that St Lucians were not aware of this whole oil exploration ?

We are now but how can that happen. Because you run a country does not mean you can do what you want.

The contract is not worth the paper its written on.

Jack you need to sue the person who issued the contract.

At last this Opposition is showing some responsibility to the people of this Country, doing the job they are paid to do. And seeking to promote and in a sense, demand accountability, transparency and good governance for the people of this country.

When a Government fears the citizens 9the people) we have democracy.

But when the people fear the Government, we have Tyranny.

Let the Prime Minister and whoever else account for the granting of a licence for Oil exploration in our waters; without we the people ever knowing such an agreement existed.

What if a disaster took place in our waters killing both fishermen, others in the water, and destruction of our fish resources of all kinds?

The Government must account. Thank you very much.

Remember the"infamous" words uttered by a former Attorney-General, Petrus Compton on a political Platform in Soufriere, stating that the paper upon which the ROACHMEL Contract was signed , according to him, "was not worth the paper it was written".

In my view, this was and still is utter, and unprecendented DISRESPECT to the people of this country.

He ought to be ostracized from this Society. Or better yet, taken to Court on behalf of the people, because he was the Country leading Attorney. In other words, the peoples' attorney.

Shameful act.

Protocol indicates that the GG, if the holder of that title will ever interface regarding a legal matter with respect to the office, will do so through the government's own legal officer, the Attorney General. Let that jackass continue to blow his usual dummy hot air. Shit happens when you have shitty politicians in place all over the place.
