If Jamaicans were all that bright, they would not have scuppered the Federation with asinine talk about small island people.

Businesses have only one allegiance -- their bottom line.
They move when it suits that from the USA, to Mexico, to China, to Bangaladesh, to Vietnam and even back to the US when the Chinese borrow their Intellectual Property into perpetuity.
Didn't Sandals just make a business decision to move a proposed investment in Saint Lucia to Grenada?
And is this not after John Compton borrowed capital to build a causeway and gave away the streams of income to Sandals in a one-time payment. Ignorance is the one characteristic that governs the English-speaking Caribbean.

The first thing I would do as PM would be to revert this country's status in Caricom to where the Bahamas are today. We would cooperate only insofar as is absolutely necessary. Thus far and no further.
The let's play prime minister annual costume party is taking place. Let's all celebrate yet another major achievement. We're still able after all these years, to chalk up another year to this annual charade. Who is going to be there next year? Who is going to be absent. Man, this annual drink up really has legs!
