Our education system should instill "self employment" in our schools. I know it is easier said than done ... but I have come across quite a few young people who have opened their own business, and excelled in it. I guess it depends on a lot of factors: self worth, vision, innovation, a lil money. Especially if they were given, or studied, or shown the way, a vocation they could lean on to lead them to success, and make do for themselves.
As Sir Dwight Venner recently stated, "We are a nation of consumers, not producers ..." That says a lot for St Lucia. It is time for us to be a nation of "producers".

MG I know you trying to give us hope, but hope is fading fast in this country.
