This happens when you make a financially, mathematics and business knowhow challenged Kuntrie Buukie your prime minister.

Some good points Jeff. But you sound like a challenged "kuntrie buukie" yourself when you speak like a whore who would like to just continue bending over for the big US bully. Here's what you shamelessly wrote: "Are we going to flirt with Venezuela as it attempts to thumb its nose at the most powerful nation on earth, to which all the other nations on the earth pay obeisance..." Oh Jeff, you are such a genuflecting, grovelling, political prostitute! Just like the butt naked King who bent over for Wycleff Jean! I thought U were made of more principled stuff man!

Saint Lucians culturally lack a world view. Why must we in the face of all what is going on, not maturely take the landscape shaped for us by the various countries, and carve out realistic approaches that will not put future generations at risk in terms of a sustainable future? At the political level, you find the same sickening attitude to life. It's always the short term that takes centre stage. What is good for the party is what is good for the country. No matter how seemingly educated or how uneducated those offering themselves as leaders may be, the decisions are the same.

It is so sickening. There is no patriotism there at all. Deceit is the currency of the day.

Such initiatives like P.C. are considered great but only by those who do not know a fart about economics.

Truly an ill-conceived move by Kenny and Co. He's hoping he won't be around when the shit hits the fan. This move does not lessen Saint Lucia's foreign currency exposure and it certainly does not lessen its dependence on fossils. These twin concerns can only be addressed by a determined push towards renewable energy.
