If big USA can execute criminals why St.Lucia can not do the same?
A murderer get out of prison after a few years, the family of the victims suffering for the rest of the life.

(a eye for an eye,its only fair to the victims)

Why do we have that big tree by the belfry??

God put it there to Hang the Murderers so all can see what happens to murderers.

I like the Guillotine; Nice and clean cut.

I Guarantee the killing would decrease in Lucia.

Look at how many killers are walking around Castries because of their "contacts" in the government.

Surah Qaf

We verily created man and We know what his soul whispereth to him, and We are nearer to him than his jugular vein. (16)

(Remember!) that the two receivers (recording angels) receive (each human being), one sitting on the right and one on the left (to note his or her actions)[] (17)

Not a word does he (or she) utter, but there is a watcher by him ready (to record it).[] (18)

And the stupor of death will come in truth: "This is what you have been avoiding!" (19)

And the Trumpet will be blown — that will be the Day whereof warning (had been given) (i.e. the Day of Resurrection). (20)

And every person will come forth along with an (angel) to drive (him), and an (angel) to bear witness. (21)

(It will be said to the sinners): "Indeed you were heedless of this, now We have removed your covering, and sharp is your sight this Day!" (22)

And his companion (angel) will say: "Here is (this Record) ready with me!" (23)

(Allah will say to the angels): "Both of you throw into Hell, every stubborn disbeliever (in the Oneness of Allâh, in His Messengers) — (24)

"Hinderer of good, transgressor, doubter, (25)

"Who set up another ilâh (god) with Allâh, Then both of you cast him in the severe torment." (26)

His companion (Satan — devil)] will say: "Our Lord! I did not push him to transgression, (in disbelief, oppression, and evil deeds) but he was himself in error far astray." (27)

Allâh will say: "Dispute not in front of Me, I had already, in advance, sent you the threat. (28)

The Sentence that comes from Me cannot be changed, and I am not unjust to the slaves." (29)

On the Day when We will say to Hell: "Are you filled?" It will say: "Are there any more (to come)?"[] (30)

And the Garden is brought nigh for those who kept from evil, no longer distant. (31)

(And it is said): This is that which ye were promised. (It is) for every penitent and heedful one, (32)


"Who feared the Most Gracious (Allâh) in secret and brought a heart turned in repentance . (33)

"Enter you therein in peace and security — this is a Day of immortality!" (34)

There they will have all that they desire — and We have more (35)

Do you think if I stole $20 from you, that it is your right to exact your twenty from me? That you should be compensated proportionally for your lost??

Now if I murdered your daughter - deprived her of her life - don't you think that justice permits you to demand that I forfeit my life?? or you should just let me do a life sentence/25 years? or even better, do the good christian thing? turn the other cheek?

God put that big tree in the Square to Hang Murderers - now I killed the man up waterworks and threw him in the river, then I killed that girl in the Grave Yard, tonight I might kill this feller who took my girl. I like you 12:02 I am safe with good Christians like you.
