You make a lot of sense here. Getting past our insular existence and strengthening economic ties with Venezuela, the largest country in the Caribbean, is strategically astute, inasmuch as we have something to trade that the Venezuelans are genuinely interested in, not just for the sake of expediency. The synergies to be generated are innumerable. Hopefully common sense will prevail and sensible decisions and actions will ensue.
