What is the wording of Section 7 of the Finance (Administration) Act?
What has become so pathetic is the manner in which the St. Lucia Labour Party and hacks like Earl Buosquet attempt to discredit the United Workers Party.
Infantile, amateurish, booring, ineffecive, childish, immature, are just some of the words that come to mind when we look at how the SLP clown try to affect the hearts and minds of the electorate.
Having failed miserably because of his narrow mindset and limited thinking to influence anyone , Bousquet now tries parody and satire in an attempt to spoof the whole Taiwanese/UWP connection.
Sorry if this is New Labour then the SLP should go back to Old Labaaar.
There are 100 issues and 1,000 facts that could rupture the UWP at this point in time and rather than a logical, mature and focused plan of action the SLP flounder all over the place operating on emotion, anger, petulance and sheer stupidity.
Keep it up and long will live the King !

You notice every time you comment on the point of law, you rattle the nerves of the "Defenders". They then turn to insults and personal criticisms. 'It's the nature of the beast', get used to it.
The representative from Taiwan, I don't know whether he can be classified as an ambassador because ambassadors are bound by protocol and the rules of the State. Nevertheless, he has alluded to the fact that that's how its done in Taiwan and his government has not told him otherwise. So it is clear that at this junction, the rules of Taiwan supersede those of St. Lucia. That is frightening!!
All I can say is that we are definitely sold out.

What a shame.
The St. Lucia Labour Party have to travel the path they are on at the moment.
They are stuck with Dr. Anthony and what comes to mind is the saying "In the land of the blind, the one eyed man is King ".
In spite of his lack of leadership ability, his managerial incompetence,his anysmal track record, his arrogance and tendancy to sully the body politic the fact is that Dr. Anthony is an intelligent individual with the presence to make his colleagues look like leadership midgets.
The problem with this is that the SLP and the country have no real option available to move forward.
Anthony actually reminds me of Rufus Bousquet, all flash and mirrors with no substance. The only difference is that Dr. Anthony is not lazy.
For the person above praising Earl Bousquet. Earl is insignificant. He is a hack pure and simple. His relevance depends on others that he hangs onto to gain credence.
Earl, I'm still waiting....

Do you honestly expect an answer to that question?
I was expecting that since Earl is no longer being paid to write nonsense on Kenny's behalf, he wouldn't agree to make himself look like an ass by writing at the behest of his former masters.
But, it appears that I was wrong. Earl must have been told to write this critique, and he did so without even looking into its veracity.
Good article, i guess the people are to blind to see that they were sold by the government.
That is the point. As Obama said ; He's a jackass !!!

WORTH BEING AWARE
The Government of Saint Lucia has been made aware of the recent circulation of emails which attempt to project a negative image of our nation.
Government is extremely concerned at this development. As a result the Government of Saint Lucia wishes to bring to the attention of the public what appears to be a campaign of malicious emails which seems calculated to engineer despair and to tarnish the name of our beloved nation. Government views this development as an onslaught and declaration of aggression against our national interest.
In the past weeks there has been an apparent trend of disturbing emails which have bordered on threats to national security and treason. It is clear that these emails have been propelled by an agenda of deliberate and calculated mischief. Government questions the motives of those who are behind this recent campaign. Such motives can only be driven by narrow and self-serving interest and certainly not that of the collective goodwill of Saint Lucians.
One of the more recent emails circulated had attached gruesome and gory photos of the decapitated and dismembered body of a young woman with the claim that this heinous crime was committed in Saint Lucia. However when one “google’s” the relevant information, including the name of the victim, it is discovered that this crime was in fact perpetuated in a neighboring Caribbean Country on December 12th, 2006.
All Saint Lucian nationals living at home and in the Diaspora are urged to disregard such email, which are only calculated to instigate an atmosphere of instability within our nation. Government would like to further advise that persons should desist from forwarding such emails as forwarding such emails would only help to assist those who have set about to bring injury to our nation.
Government condemns in the strongest manner what amounts to an act of terrorism against our nation. Perpetuators of such acts are reminded that the circulation of such emails is in fact an offence under Sections: 314, 315 and 361 of the Criminal Code. Government assures Saint Lucians of its commitment and determination to tackle head-on the scourge of crime and to ensure that peace and tranquility becomes the norm.
361 has been repealed, Earl.
It is because Saint Lucia has been the buz for a while now and naturally you'll find some evil ones out there, even envious ones.
This is our moment, so let us shine just like the torch at the top of our coat of arms. A torch to light our path and darkness cannot comprehend this light so it will surely flee and hide it's face.
