Seriously, why does anyone pay any attention to the party of one?

Are you saying that the issues raised by one isn't significant? While government is at liberty to ask much of our countrymen by way of tightening their belt, where is the responsibility from government to lead by example?

Aren't we being a bit too partisan here and not enough pro country?

Yes, I am "saying that the issues raised by one isn't [sic] significant".

How much money can be saved by decreasing cabinet ministers from 13 to 9, and what percentage of a $1.2 billion budget does that represent? Similarly, what impact will a salary decrease for Ministers of 25% have? Why is "one" not calling for a decrease of 25% in civil service wages?

This is just a political press release, and coming from a party of one, it is insignificant.

I can also say that PM is being political likewise. Here we are faced with an economic crisis in the country and he appears on TV and Radio with a yellow shirt and Tie. Was he trying to divide the country by showing who is really in charge?

This government continues to misread the mood in the country. The people of St Lucia is just about up to their necks with them. It is from that point of view that I believe they should go further than what ONE is asking to demonstrate their sincerity to dealing with the economic crisis. Yes, the CSA etc has to give in but so does the government.

Just too many government ministers and wives are taking the country for a ride.

Please listen to the MESSAGE not the MESSANGER.

The UWP administration does not have what it takes to govern St Lucia. Well, I must also add and I quote Rick wayne " A people get the government they deserve"

Every dollar counts and while ONE may not be a political powerhouse, some valid points are made.
