My question would be, what rights are we (heterosexuals) losing by allowing gays and lesbians the same rights that we have? And who are we to dictate what is right for others?

Tolerance is extending to others the rights that we demand for ourselves.

well said to the anonymous poster...I remember the zealous rants of this same father Clovis on the review of abortion laws in slu.....it is clear that his doctrine is not for all the people but only some...slu is not a medieval country...please stop recounting 2000 yr old musings of men as if it as an eternal truth and lets find real solutions for the real problems that ail our society.

Homosexuality is not normative and homosexual acts are a disorder. They are pretend relations. So-called same-sex marriage will in effect destroy marriage and the family. Such a turn will hurt society and most especially children who lose the right of having a mother and a father. Tony Blair is playing to public opinion and public opinion is often wrong.
