It's all well and good to celebrate and honor the Cuba-St. Lucia friendship but let us not forget the people of Cuba who are struggling under a totalitarian regime and an archaic economic system.
Cuba needs to get rid of that political and economic system it has failed miserably and causing their people untold hardship even more so in the face of the depressing world economy.
The Castro brothers need to swallow their pride and acknowledge that they need to free their people from this tyranny thereby unleashing their entrepreneurial spirit.
Those who will take issue with me for voicing opposition to tyranny and subjugation I challenge them to leave St. Lucia and go take up residence there.
Cubans live a lot better than a lot of St Lucians, that is a fact.
