All these so called criminals, who are terrorising our once peaseful island, needs to be shot dead, so that we St Lucians could live in peace again. Good job mr. security, follow that with many more. Thany you again, you are our hero.

I understand its sad for some one to lose they life over a bottle of rum. However if, indeed he pulled the knife on the Security, then he was right to shoot.

There are too many thieves in St Lucia and that is a good example for them. I hope the thieves can learn from this. Sorry for the guy who lost his life but what was his reason for taking what didn't not belong to him.

All thieves are scary and that is a lesson for them.

I'M NOT CONDONING STEALING BUT YOU DON'T SHOOT TO KILL SOMEBODY FOR A BOTTLE OF HENNESSY(RUM, ALCOHOL). FOR THE PERSON WHO SAID GOOD JOB TO THE SECURITY, IF IT WAS YOUR FAMILY MEMBER THAT WAS SHOT I KNOW YOU WOULD NOT BE SINGING THAT SONG. SO WHAT HAPPEN WE ENDING PEOPLE LIVES FOR RUM? WE HAVE NO RESPECT FOR LIFE? THAT'S WHAT A HUMAN LIFE COUNTS FOR? A FAMILY IS MOURNING THE DEATH OF A MEMBER AND THE SECURITY WILL LIVE WITH THAT KILLING FOR THE REST OF HIS LIFE.

I do not care if it was my family who was killed whiles stealing. My mother taught us not to steal, a thief come steal and kill, so he must be killed first. All thieves deserved to be killed.

It depends on how the thief attacked the security maybe he could of survived.

yea but what puzzles me is its always ok for a security guard to gun down someone and no comments,,,,but i rest assured if it was a cop who shot him,,,you would be hearing so much from the public and media...double standards i tell u
