if i were in mr chastenat's shoes i would i have given up on this country. I dont think the people of this country deserve his hard work, passion and time. we would have loved to have him in our country. Like Rick always says, "the 70% baffoons is this country's biggest downfall

Please, please, please, i am begging you, tell us what hard work is Chastanet doing, which qualifies us to love him for? Is he not getting paid a hefty salary by us for his work? Is he doing us a favor for free? Is he the only one that can do the job, if the gives up? Tell us what is so better since Chastanet took over the job? Why do you follow Rick by calling St Lucians baffoons? What is a baffoon in the first place? I am happy with the baffoons who brought me to this earth, they did not have an education, but they gave me one. So is Rick and most of us. Why should people quote Rick when he criticize his own people?

It is the baffoons who had St Lucia economy going for many many, years and they caused St Lucia to be developed as it is today. They are the ones working hard on the banana fields for very little to sustain our growth, so tell Rick go back with that. I an prood of the baffoons. If it was not for them his papers would not have been selling so much.

I do not usually get angry about any discussion on this board, but i got very, very, very angry when i read that article form Stan trying to make excuses for Chastanet. When he said people was trying to make or gain cheap political points by reacting to what Chastanet said, as if Chastanet is some God, or some God send. The matter is very, very, very simple, just PROVIDE SECURITY FOR THE TOURIST and the citizens of the country. I believe this is a very, very, very simple task. It only take six mouths to train a full fledge policeman, so it do it does not have to take so much time to train security persons, as a matter of fact they could be trained in phases to become a full fledge policeman, if they are needed to serve before six mouths.Instead of Chastanet running all about including going overseas to lobby, and telling people how important the tourism industry is to us, and we must not commit crime towards them, he should just provide security to the country, because the criminals will not hear him. One policeman at a spot will make a difference. There is not much employment in St Lucia, so people will be happy to get these jobs, if it is provided for them..
