Did anyone read this to the end? I didn't.

What a load of incoherent bull! Can someone in the SLP teach this boy how to write?

I felt so very dizzy I had to stop.

Who is lying to this young man? Why allow him to embarrass himself and the party in the process?

This writer must be suffering from dementia of the alzheimer type. Making reference to the "doings" of this administration and wanting the reader to believe that it is inherrent to them. Did the reader not remember the former administration spending millions on a commission of inquiry which also proved futile? and the crime rate beginning to rise during the previous administration and also nothing being done?

This writer has done nothing worthy of one's time. All that was introduced in this piece was a list of problems (which can be found anywhere; locally or internationally).

You want to come out under the false auspacies of an intellect; yet you shower the readers with no plausible solutions. To you I say go entertain your false aspirations, and return when you can bring worthy arguments to the table...ME

Wow! This piece is a classic case of - THE COW JUMP OVER THE MOON and a kind of modern day LITTLE JACK HORNER all jumbled up in one.

Oh yes! We are ever so ready and eager to make sane people look like idiots. Whatever u people may think every word of what this writer says is true. Whoever you may be writer, I thank you for putting into words my daily thoughts. Regardless of what you people may think, I did read everything and hell no, it wasnt "incoherent." Kudos to you once again. I agree wholeheartedly.

Both you and the person who wrote this article is suffering from a delusional disorder.

Anonymous said...

It's the same person, didn't you know?

Anonymous said...

Insane people always deny the fact that they're nuts even when they're admitted in the mental asylum and taking those happy pills.

Anonymous said...

To comment on someone's opinion and yet be so gramatically incompetent is appalling! Come on! "is suffering from a delusional disorder?" LMAO. To the idiot below you, no matter what your fickle brain is telling you I am a first time visitor to this site and commented on the article only because it's a great piece of writing. It's people like you that allowed a certain deceased politician to think he was a god. What can I say. Leaders shape us into what they think is in their favour. He must be overjoyed to know that his influence permeates among us even after his death. Morons!!!!!!!

Who cares about dead people?

The UWP government died early in 2007, with any hope of honour being buried with the father of our nation????? LOL

Why some St Lucians just refuse to hear the truth, they would say all kinds of nonsense about the article, but none of them CANNOT point one sentence which is not true.

Anonymous said...

Don't plan the readers for this atrocious piece of writing.

The truth always brings out the worst in people. We swallow all the crap that was fed to us by this incompetent group. They promissed good and fair governance. They would be better at fighting crime. just to name a few of the reason to put them in power. For the defenders of this group I say go back 3 years and listen to all the promisses that were made. None has come to fruition. The defenders will never admit that there are problems for they are the ones who got banbozzeled into putting this group in power. It,s just very hard to be humble and admit that this group has taken the country back years. As has been said before, you can put lipstick on a pig, it doesn't change anything. It's still a pig. Keep on denying people, Don't stop wallowing in your denials.

Which is worst? Is it Prozac or laxative?

I agree the writer needs a lot of coaching. This was jumbled and lacked coherence.
I too, was not able to complete the article.
I have been critical of Denis Springer's writing so I can't give this one a pass.

There is some raw potential that needs to be honed. The Voice needs to do some editing of some of these articles before printing them.

Other people are reading them remember you have an international readership.

We St Lucians are famous for that, whenever we do not agree with one opinion, we began to criticize then personally. Please forget the messenger and let us concentrate on the MESSAGE, because i can see the truth in what the person is saying. ALL of us make MISTAKES in our writing.

After reading the article I concur with most readers.

Get your facts together. No one is giving the young man grief because of his opinion.
This has nothing to do with politics. The article was poorly written. Period!

Actors who wish to play in the big league must at least convince readers that they are in command of the subject matter and game plan.

And there u go trying to blindside people. Contrary to popular opinion, not all St Lucians are illiterate. To say this article has nothing to do with politics borders on insanity. Had it been promoting the UWP, jumbled or not it would have been the best article ever written. Come off it!

True, well said,.

It’s not for the reader to decipher what a writer intended to communicate. It’s for the writer to communicate effectively to the reader.

To suggest that if readers were NOT UWP SUPPORTERS they may have reacted differently to the article is totally misleading and verges on intellectual dishonesty.

Intellectualism does not carry any UWP and SLP labels. It’s either you are an intellectual or you’re not!

Whatever, Ernest Hemmingway. Preach to the masses.

Anonymous said...

he ganse! LOL

PLease, please we all know you are an intellect, stop making the discussion about you or the writer. i understand what the writer said, how comes you do not understand?

Zeigy said...

Ah, well, it all makes sense now. This Jeremiah Hyacinth appears to be the worst of the worst when it comes to party hacks.

Apparently he's the chairman of the St Lucia Labour Party of New York (SLP-NY) but to make matters worse is how biased his article is despite having some education in political science.

I'd say his school failed him.

ZEIGY, You come back with your insane comments again, we al know you are mentally insane. Who ask you to point out who the writer is? Is that any of your business? you even talk about the person schooling. Talking about schooling you should see that your beloved PM go to school, as the writer did. Why can't you describe yourself? You are the only person who is not bias on this board, because you are supporting an incompetent government in St lucia. Before you say the writer is bias, PLEASE point out what he say that is untrue. I am supprised to hear that some people claimed that they cannot understand the article, but you find it to be bias. I suppose you as an insane person can understand anything,

Zeigy said...

You know how I know when I've made a good comment? It's when this guy comments below mine about how insane it is, then goes on to emphasize all my salient points :)

Anonymous said...

ZEIGY, Please do not try to give yourself props, let some one else boast about you, do not boast yourself, about you write a good article, all boasters are fools. Now let us go back to the article you called bias. Do not avoid the question, I will ask it to you again. "POINT OUT THE SENTENCES IN THE ARTICLE THAT IS UNTRUE AND BIAS?" We are all St Lucians, please do not just say people are bias, POINT OUT where they are bias.

ZIEGY SAYS I'd say his school failed him.

lol

No Ziegy. He failed the school. LOL

All that glitters is not gold. LOL
