This is really good.... something positive for our business community and people of St. Lucia! And gosh... I love chocolate! :)
Yes this is very good especially for soufriere but there should be lingering questions in looking at past business on the island who were given priveledges to operate such as;Who will be the beneficiaries of this; After A few months of operation aren't there going to be discrimination.
What about payments, Are they going to pay a worker what they worth.
Isn't it going to like other countries with cheap labour.
Now these Ministers and goverment in charge will they be looking to see that these folks respect the laws of our land by the laws which are to govern its workers
Am here to see and watch.

YAY!! for chocolate!! At last St Lucia will have it's own chocolate factory. And yes, an outlet for the cocoa farmers.
To the "Nay Sayers" - please stay under your archaic rocks where you belong, or begin reading the "business magazines" and "business newspapers". There you will find ALL the answers (if you can understand it!) of how to profit successfully.
We are no longer in the '50's to '80's "make a fast buck" era. There are LOTS of successful St Lucian entrepreneurs in all walks of business. No need to mention names - just read "Business Focus".
By the way, just trying to read some of the "Nay Sayers" comments - one can tell their education level!!!
