Yes, indeed we need help but the help that Taiwanese is giving is lending itself to significant corruption, greed and inequality. Tom Chou must ensure that the funds he is giving go to the Consolidated Fund. Otherwise other parties, aside from the uwp, will simply not trust the Taiwanese.

Some of the Taiwanese monies must be given to desilt and construct strong and appropriate retaining walls for the Union and Balata rivers. The Dame Pearlette School continue to experience significant damage due to flooding of those rivers. Help us Taiwanese by putting the millions in the Consolidated fund and not in the pockets of the MP's.

#1 comment .. please remember that St Lucia is a micro dot in the Caribbean sea with limited resources ... without foreign aid whether monetary or otherwise we would be dead meat just right for coubeaux to pick... even the US needs assistance from others ... you think slu will survive without? I think that Peter Lang was simply looking at present day situation and saying that we need to be friends with both countries one way or the either ....
