Can you imagined what Kenny would have done if we were a republic?

Absolute power corrupts absolutely.

I am getting pretty tired of hearing of Kenny's failed ventures. I think this man is a disgraced to the country.

The sad thing about that is we have a very bad government, and the government in wait appears to be no better.

Civil disobedience you mean. No?

Who has the moral authority in St. Lucia today to get anyone to obey anything but what's on the statute books? The Don's mole in the police force? The priests? The dirty ... stinking ... corrupt ... nasty... rotten ... immoral politicians that make up the current UWP government?

Great piece! I look forward to the dawning of the era when we can have parliamentary reps. and have men of character and intellect to be effective policymakers in this country.

I simply cannot accept the model of governance in this country where people like Estaphan, the 2 Guys, oh my goodness the semi illiterate Stephenson King as PM, Rufus, Doddy(the studded guy)serving as leaders and policymakers. We desperately need qualified individuals and persons of integrity representing us locally, regionally and on the international stage as well.

Among the political stock that we have the brightest minds and persons of character are Dr. Robert Lewis, Dr. Ubaldus Raymond, Dr. Gail Rigobert, Dr. Anthony, Phillip, Emma Hippolyte, Pep, Chastanet, Janine, Alvina and Theophilus.

Some of the remaining stock can serve as constituency Rep. and others should simply stay away from politics altogether especially, Stephenson King, Rufus and Frederick. Those three guys are causing shame and pain to St. Lucia locally, regionally and at the international level.

With everything we know now, you can safely add Kenny Anthony to that List of shameful politcians.

#4 comment goes someway to describe what types of persons we need to govern St. Lucia, I believe the author of this piece, is that person, He is a man of integrity, his model of governance is sound, he truly wants what is best for this country, and I believe he will be an outstanding politician.

There are lots of qualified persons or leaders in this country but getting them to place their hat in the political fray is difficult, given the sad reputation of some politicians and the high level of corruption.

We need debates from our leaders on matters of national importance and policy. Dr. Ubaldus Raymond has asked requested a debate with King to no avail. Other politicians should request the same. In my view Dr. Ubaldus Raymond and others on both sides should continue requesting such debates since it is healthy practice.

I am waiting with eager anticipation to see who the people of Castries North will vote for?

St. Lucians must determine if they will continue to have King enjoy the luxuries derived from the Taiwanese millions, while St. Lucians beg from the cramps at the UWP table or have a strong dedicated leader in the person of Dr. Ubaldus Raymond to represent us.

We need a better more progressive St. Lucia and the best party to do so as it stands now is the SLP.
